    Yeah, only one side. Bummer, huh! Well, you can use the measurement guide but do your own, using both sides of the body. Why not? Why limit it?

      okay I know this is going to sound like the stupidest thing ever, but I don't know how to measure myself. Is it something you can do by yourself? Where do you measure at?

        Hi,
        I went to mybodycomp.com and joined, but don't see where it lets you record body measurements. Checked out the 'tools' link and the 'forums' link? Am I blind??? Can anyone tell me what I've overlooked?

            It is difficult to find your way around mybodycomp.com
            Once you have logged in choose 'Health Tools' then click on the 'body fat monitor' option.
            You will be taken to the 'body compositon report' page

            If you have entered figures before you will see a list of previous 'reports' but if you havent yet done this you need to select the 'Start with Blank (new) 'option and click on 'Go'.

            Then you can fill out the blanks with your details - there is a diagram showing where to measure yourself. For some reason my page shows a male figure with the places to measure but I just guess where a woman should measure and do that!

              Why not wear a piece of string around your waist? I've seen people do this. tie it tight around your waist (not too tight though) and watch it become loose over the next few weeks!!

                    Am I too late to join this challenge?

                    I admitt to being a slave to my scale.... so I love the idea of measuring myself every 2 weeks and maybe then I will see better results. I'll be done with my 3rd week on Induction this Sunday and Monday I'll be meauring myself. After that I will wait the 2 weeks.

                      I'm up for this. I have been back on Atkins for 19 days now and have only lost 2 pounds. I did take measurements 1 week ago (I was too scared to see what my actual starting measurements were) so I will measure again in another week. What exactly are we measuring? I only did chest, waist, hips and thighs. What am I missing?

                      I keep saying that I will start exercising soon but I need to make soon become NOW!!!! Maybe this will be a motivator.

                          The parts I usually measure (learned this from my nutritionist when I was younger) is upper arms at the widest part, neck, breasts, under breasts (bra line for women), waist at the narrowest part, stomach at the largest part (below the waist but above the hips), hips, thighs, calves and ankles.

                          I find that most people forget to measure the neck, but it really is neat to see that part of you shrink.

                          This is my first post in a couple years, it's nice to be back, here and on Atkins. I started again yesterday.
