    Re: OK So You Cheated!

oh yeah and having a full tummy of allowed food helps me to not think about eating any bad stuff, cause if I let myself get too hungry...LOOK OUT! I'm knawin on my arm again!

      Re: OK So You Cheated!

Thank you for everyone being so inviting...it's awesome to have a board that communicates!

I'm so glad to be in the comfort of others....now that we've done our confessing, the first step in this gig, if feels pretty darn good. Moooving on...

What keeps me motivated? Let me see...reading the inspirational stories is a high for me, along with not having clothes to wear this winter because everything I have right now is a size smaller.

DH is a blast when it comes to making sure I take care of me. Although he has his moments of "duh" and "shouldn't of said that", he's constantly telling me how beautiful I am to him...and that's all that matters. So, I take that and run with it and find that I need to lose the weight for me...along with having a goal to be at my *goal* weight by the time I get my full fledged teachin degree I need to be able to keep up with those whipper snappers.

The scale is an evil foe...I need to put it away again. Somebody please take it from me!

lol...I hear ya! I find myself chowing on something every 2-3 hours...small portions of course, but it just seems like I'm eating all the time during Induction to avoid being so snappy moody and everything else ...lol.

                      Re: OK So You Cheated!

Thanks for bumping this up! Looks like it started the weekend I was out of town at the family reunion.

My story is much like everyone else's. What triggers my cheat(s) is being too hungry when I get home from work. I'm sick of pork rinds and my daughter's chips look so good so I have :::: just a few :::: while fixing dinner. Now, I save just a little bit of my lunch (usually chicken) to snack on while driving home. That has helped.

I haven't been able to do much exercise the last 5 weeks because of my foot surgery. I'm looking forward to getting back to that SOON!!!!! I miss it!!!

Ok, now what y'all DON'T wanna hear but this is honesty time, right?? This weekend is our 1st wedding anniversary. We are going camping to the campground we spend our wedding weekend. I will have cheats. I'm having that 1st anniversary piece of cake with our last bottle of Italian wine. It's gonna happen, you can't talk me out of it. It is the only 1st anniversary we will have. However, I am totally committed to this WOL after this weekend. Totally. I'm going to do at least a 2 week clean induction, go to the gym everyday but no less than 4 times a week. I do well with my water (3 liters/day) but could do better.

I love this board and all of you ladies and gents! The attitude here makes me want to NOT cheat and to do that for the right reasons, not guilt. The menus and recipes that we share has really helped me put variety in this WOL and I hope we do more of that soon.

Soooo..... those are my thoughts. I'm glad I'm not in this alone and that I'm not the only one that struggles.

                      WE CAN DO THIS!!!!

This was deep and boy was it heavy. Phew!

Figured it is a good one to reflect on at this time with many of us stumbling recently.

har har considering the author cheated too hey? Gentle kick noted! I think people need to realize that we are like their second family here. They wouldn't run away from their first family when they fell off the wagon so why run away from your second family? We WANT you to come back, fess up, let us help you get back on track. We are just like you, some of us stay golden and never fall off, but many of us have the occasional slip and fall and need to be here just as much as you do. so if you are lurking and cheating and wishing you could be a part of all this zaniness again, just post and get it all out, thats what we are here for!.....Or you could just stay fat...not an option? didn't think so, so whaddya waitin for?
