  • Am I eating too little?

    Is there such a thing as eating too little? I noticed that I haven't had an appetitie but I am eating three meals a day plus a snack. However the meals are very small. For example today: I ate Flax Meal as a hot cereal for breakfast, I ate a lamb gyro for lunch minus the bread, and for dinner I will probably eat a salad and shrimp.

    I would appreciate any insight because I don't want by body to go into starvation mode.

    That does not seem like alot.....Plus I think you need more added veggies....I was like this when I first started....I just started to drink more water to substitute for the food I wasn't eating....

    I don't think its healthy to stuff yourself with food if you not hungry...But I would like ot here other response on this subject...

      Avyance, you are not eating enough. You need 3 cups of veggies from the acceptable food list per day. It's best to spread it out during the day instead of eating them all in one meal.

      I know it's hard to eat when you aren't hungry. Imagine this diet and not being hungry! You should eat something every six hours (waking) to keep your blood sugar in check to avoid any cravings.

      Now, get out your acceptable foods list and EAT!!! Make sure you're drinking enough water, too.

        What I do is eat every 2 hours or so. Something small, like the meals you are eating. That way I can get enough calories in even when I'm not hungry.

        Also, the other responders are right. You need THREE CUPS of veggies, not one salad. And certainly not all at once!!!

        Plus, I don't think you're getting enough fat.

          I agree with the above. Doesn't seem like you are eating enough in general, but especially not enough fat and veggies.

          Maybe give an example of a few other days for us to look at as well.
