  • 150's - oh yeah - doing the happy dance!

I made it into the 150's! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've stayed on Atkins now longer than I did originally. I am so proud of myself. I need to keep on swimming, before I know it I'll be in the 140's and then I'll be so happy I won't know what to do with myself.

It is SO HARD to lose weight, especially for me with my stupid metabolism. I have four sons ranging from 1 - 9 years old...so spending hours at the gym is just not an option for me (time AND money wise). I don't have any exercise equipment at home, either. By the time I get the boys in bed....I'm usually exhausted. My fiance works second shift, so during the week.....I get zero help at night. I know I could still do an exercise video or something, and I need to get going with reverse sit-ups and arm weights.

Can somebody come kick my butt for me every night??? LOL.

I have my yearly exam on August 31st. I am wondering if my doctor is going to notice my weight loss. I usually HATE getting on that scale, and this time I'm not going to dread it!

Congrats on your great job losing and sticking so far!

you have plenty of exercise equipment in your house. you have free weights save those empty gallon milk jugs your boys are drinkinh and fill them as weights and aerobic exercise partnesr too calls boys. Spend some time exercising with the kids. take them for a walk, bike ride, skating, run whatever every day! get a kiddie exercise tape or your favorite one and do it with the kids . Little fellows love doing stuf with mommy. make the 9yr old be in charge of the workout Can you say butt kicking workout trainer LOL.

Excellant suggestions by 2big. You can also use can's of veggies or whatever for your weights.

Great idea involving the kids! Wish my kids were still young enough to call me Mommy (sniff) ah well....they all grow up...and move out. Most kids my sons ages 22 and 20 don't have a Mom who's a DJ either, we were never a traditional family in that respect. I had my kids out rockin the parties since they were in diapers. heh heh I miss having them on gigs.

Great job!!! I can relate to the 150's because that's where I'm at. The scale just can't seem to dip in the 140's so I hardly weigh anymore! Lol! When my clothes start falling off again then I'll take more interest. I could be dipping into the 140's for all I know but I'm happy with the clothes I can wear.

                          Congratulations to you!
