      Cabbage Rolls

      1 lb ground beef
      1 banana pepper finely chopped
1 thin slice of onion finely chopped
      Red Hot sauce
      cabbage leaves
      salt/pepper

Mix uncooked beef, banana pepper, onion, salt and pepper and a few dashes or so of red hot sauce together.

      Roll up in cabbage leaves.

Place all in an oven proof pan. Cover top of rolls with hot pepper sauce. Cover dish and cook at 350 until meat is cooked. I have no set time...just til the rolls feel firm.
This recipe would also be good baked in canned tomatoes and garlic.

It's a spice, gives the red color. Look in the mexican section.

                      Chicken w/Basil Cream Sauce

                      1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 tsp ea. garlic powder, Italian seasoning
                      salt & pepper
                      1/2 cup heavy cream
                      4 tbsp prepared pesto sauce
                      2 tbsp parmesan
                      3 chicken breasts
Cook the chicken any way you like. (I sauted the breasts in frying pan, then lowered the heat, covered and cooked about 10 minutes til no longer pink inside). Sauce: in large skillet bring broth and seasonings to boil. Let cook til about 1/2 volume. Stir in cream, and again cook down til about 1/2. Whisk in prepared pesto and parmesan. Serve over chicken. (Sauce makes enough for 5 chicken breasts @ 2 carbs, 157 cal, 15 fat 4 protein)

I've been printing all of these as they are posted. I'm drooling and my tummy's growling! I'm not creative and don't have anything to offer. I will say, in our recipe forum, 2Big has a flax bread recipe that is REALLY good! I would love more recipes for breads and crackers. Does anyone have an angel food cake recipe that is edible? LOL
