  • Cheat Free Weekend Challenge #2

    Im making a commitment to begin a cheat free weekend.... no legal cheats (my recent downfall) included.

    Starting today I will get thru the weekend with my woe in tact.

    Anybody want in?

    Well, it's probably too late for me to join in ... over here it's Friday 2 PM and I had a cup of coffee with real milk this morning, so actually I've cheated already.

    I'll keep carbs on induction level anyway... have downed the first 60 oz of water for today and am back on induction square one by tomorrow. So count me in.

            I'm in. I'm even gonna finally try to kick that one morning cup of coffee I've been allowing myself. Switch to green tea. We can do this!

              Yes, I am in. I will be out camping this weekend and already packed the frig with food that I can eat. I brought lots of bottled water with me too. I will let you know how it goes.

                          How is everyone in the challenge doing today? Any obstacles in the way that you have to work your way thru?

                          My plans:
                          breakfast..... scrambled eggs w/diced ham, onions and green peppers
                          lunch..... chicken salad w/ cucumbers
                          dinner..... stroganoff w/cauliflower
                          snacks.... pepperoni and cheese
                          100 oz water w/lemon

                            Things went great yesterday for my night out with the girls. I ate a NY strip and green beans with butter before I went out. No one felt like drinking, which removed one major tempation. The girls snacked on guac., salsa and chips, so I had a nice sized scoop of guac and ate with a fork. YUMMY.

                            Tonight, I'll have to deal with my other downfall — stress related eating (and smoking). I can count on a bumpy night ahead at home as major stuff is going on with H and I, and I need to have a stragegy of what I'll do when the emotions are running high.

                              Terry, I got through my Friday ok, but it wasn't easy. I guess it's not always supposed to be. Saturday is just a big a test for me.
