I lived in Tucson for a long time. It IS a dry heat. Although one cannot really say that during the monsoon season.

Now I'm in San Diego and during August, all of the rich "zonies"come here and we make fun of them.....lol

Sometime my wife and I would go to Tucson to visit that old beautiful church in the middle of the dessert. Can't remember it's name though. Also enjoy going up Mt. Lemon before the fires.

I did not go. My wife went alone and she had a wonderful time. I lived in Pasadena, Texas for a short time back in 1980 and hated it. But thats so different than Houston. I lived a few blocks from the old Gilly's club. (dating myself now).
