    Re: Tuesday check-in

    hey everyone,
checking in, after being in hiding after a rough weekend. First, I accidentally grabbed *gulp* a regular pepsi from the fridge at work and downed a 1/4 of the the can before I realized the mistake.

I've been feeling under the weather for days, really really tired, barely functioning. I have wanted to give up several times these last few days, craving all sorts of comfort foods. I slipped a little (ate a handful of granola at a picnic Sunday) and almost gave up completely yesterday, but burried my head under my pillow instead. Today, I'm glad that I am still here, trying to stick to the program.

I just checked out the exercise challenge board, and I'm looking forward on getting in on the next six week challenge. Until then, I'm going to try to get started without making any promises, at least not until I'm feeling a little better.
    HW: 217, lost 57 lbs. in 2003/04

I promised myself I'd never see 200 on the scale again!

      Re: Tuesday check-in

I love you guys as much as is platonically and legally allowed by our US Constitution!

Cleo, darling, I just reread the Constitution and guess what? There are NO limits!!!!!! OMG!

So today was staff development day. Morning was spent evaluating teaching practices for students who are learning English as a second language, and the afternoon was spent on ......p.e.

We did 2.5 hours of p.e. - games, exercises, line dancing, all the stuff they are having us teach the elementary kiddies. I was soooo exhausted I came home and took a 2 hour nap!

Insifer - I will not make my 80 oz today. I am going to try again tomorrow. This is a real struggle with me, so keep holding out that incentive, ok?

I have eaten well today. Kinda hungry this evening, but I have lots of things available.

I have to say it is such a pleasure to be at this new school, which is warm and friendly, unlike the completely impersonal, passive high school I was at last year. The thought of being back at a school where teachers weren't excited about taking risks and trying new things to improve instruction was making me so depressed.....now I'm on top of the world!

Well, I'm checking in late. Hugs to everybody, I'm so proud of all of you here @ STAC. Keep the Faith!

As far as the Whooshies, well I'm buying myself some horseradish on payday this week. I want one, no, I deserve one.
