      I started out at 325 and I've lost 100 pounds so far. You can do it, too! I highly recommend you buy the 2002 Version of the Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution if you haven't already. Therein you'll find the answers to most questions. Until yours arrives (I ordered mine from amazon.com), ask away and good luck!

      I also agree with mama26. Exercise is essential.

          And take a look at the faq forum for the rules of induction and list of allowed foods. In the 14-day induction forum there is a wallet-sized list you can print and have with you when you shop or eat out to make sure you are choosing the right foods.
