    Hello all, I'm gonna start with my bad news first...
    I was at the doctor on Friday, and stupidly, asked to be weighed. I have mentioned that I haven't weighed myself in a long time, I don't even own a scale anymore. But, I was doing good, going cheat free, so I got up the courage. BIG MISTAKE ! You can see my new ticker, I am up over 20 pounds from my last weigh in. I felt horrible. I even cried later that afternoon to my BF. It was awful.
    Good news, I have gone cheat free since October 22nd!!! (lost count of how many days that is). I do still drink caffine daily, and alcohol occasionally. Other than that, I have not cheated at all. I'm really proud of myself for that. I know if I keep this up, the scale will move in my favor. I am going to buy a scale this week, since now I have that "starting" weight to base my success off of.

    That's ok..we have all been through that, your not alone...Just Don't give up!

      You are not alone. We are in this together in a big way. I could not have done any of the success's I have had without this group! Since Oct. 22? That is really, really good. The hard part is over!

      1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
      what the rungs mean to me:
      rung 1 - more veggies
      rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
      rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
      rung 4 - berries, melon
      rung 5 - wine -
      rung 6 - beans, hummus
      rung 7 - other fruits
      rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
      rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
      Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
      (on to pre-maintenance)

        good for you now you can run from the "big" lady on the scales today as you pursue your Atkins WOL.
        FYI the caffien in the coffee is a fat storing hormone. Think about it when you have to have that coffee. all the fats you just ate are headed to your hips until the caffeine effect on the insulin is finished.
