    Monday check-in

    Good morning all

Thanks for your good wishes for my Dad. He is so much better now. It's likely he'll come home from hospital in the next couple of days.

I am back on the program today. As I said in a previous post, I have eaten very eratically. Sometimes nothing, other times lots of junk... not good but I just couldn't stick to the plan during all the stress. I have to say that I did not enjoy the carbs and felt bloated, fed up and tired so I would have been better off sticking to Atkins. I put 4 pounds on. Anyway........

I am going to stick to induction for a few days to get back in ketosis before moving back to my modified OWL rung. Plan for today is high protein and fat and loads of water - a pint (16 ounces) an hour until early evening and then I'll slow down a bit.

I very much hope everything is well with you. I see there are quite a few newbies who I look forward to 'meeting'.

    Have a nice day everyone.

        Hi Zara,

Glad to hear your dad's doing better. I'm reinducting too b/c I fell off the wagon. I didn't have nearly as much stress as you did, though, so I have no excuses. Here's to us getting back on track!

Yay, Zara. I am so glad to hear he is doing better. My Dad was sick earlier this year and it was so awful. He, too is so much better. Makes you feel a bit vulnerable, though, huh? Glad to hear you are tracking again...
