  • What is for dinner?

    I think I am having smoked pork leftover from the other night. Maybe a side salad? I am obviously needing some ideas...
    149.8/no weigh/ 119



    1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
    what the rungs mean to me:
    rung 1 - more veggies
    rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
    rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
    rung 4 - berries, melon
    rung 5 - wine -
    rung 6 - beans, hummus
    rung 7 - other fruits
    rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
    rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
    Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
    (on to pre-maintenance)

    I put a pork roast and sauerkraut in the crock pot this morning. I love when dinner is ready when I walk in the door!

      mmm pork, make a nice glaze of mustard, mayo and a little splenda, add some grey poupon if you have it or a dash of worschestire...yum!

        We had hamsteak here. I had spaghetti squash while hubby had his potato.

          We are having roast goose and I made a sauce for the goose of heavy cream and crushed dried gourmet mushrooms. Then cut up some zucchini into fry size and dredged them in egg, made a coating of parm, salt, almond flour and pepper and deep fried for 3 mins...Nummers!

                  Smoked turkey, asparagus, sauteed spinach, and later some cottage cheese.

                      I made taco salad tonight and we eat had 1/2 of an avocado to boot!

                          I love these threads as they give you some good ideas.

                          I had tomato soup (home made low carb) last night.

                          Tonight, I am going to have a home made burger and salad - yum.

                            Oh MotherofGizmo, pork and sauerkraut is one of my favorites. Had it for dinner one night last week and lunch the next day.

                            Tonight is a spinach salad, chicken legs and veggies.
