Re: 5 Mins of fame WomanPraised
First... My friend changed her mind. My deliberation when making decisions is "probably a good thing", but I don't accept good things about me well. She is trying to come up with something "really awful".. I told her that's okay. I didnt need to hear anything really awful!
onward...
How old are your kids?
My guys are 5.5, 7, and 8.5. They are amazing.
Where do you live? You may already answered that. If so, ignore.
I am in Las Vegas, NV for the next three years. Then I AM moving somewhere that doesnt have a mall or a casino, and where folks still go to high school football games. That country song: "I wanna live where the green grass grows"is my theme song... I catch myself singing it in my head often.
Where would your dream vacation be?
I have a plan, in 9 years, to take the entire year off and travel the country with my boys before they go off into world as adults. I have a savings plan and everything.
For just me, a beach in the winter, a storm or two blowing through, and a ton of books, with a cute little restaurant so I dont have to cook.
What do you miss the most? Your favorite high carb treat, if you will? And how can you "substitute" for that food?
I thought it would be chocolate, but am surprised at my gut reaction to this. Obviously, Starbucks, subbed by the VERY occasional half of a short latte breve. Then would be potatoes. There really isnt a sub for this, but I dont think about it much. There are so many SF candies that self regulate how much you can eat without spending the day wtih a book in the bathroom, it is hard to miss candy. Garlic bread. MMM. But I also love what I DO eat, so it is silly to whine. Mostly the occasional, going to a restaraunt treats are what gets me. That is when I want the bread or the potatoe.
