Here I am, back again.
Nice to see old friends again. For those who don’t know me, nice to meet you. My story is not much different from the other 2nd timers, I am sure. I started Atkins 2 and a half years ago and lost about 80lbs that first year. I loved it, I did great on Atkins. That first year I exercised all the time, I joined a gym, I never cheated. I was healthy and doing great and on my way to being thin for the first time in my life.
And then life happened. I started a new job that I hated. I still hate, to be honest. It was stressful and long hours that I wasn’t used to. The first 2 months I would come home and just cry all night long. I was too tired everyday to work out, too tired to cook. At first I told myself that it would be just for a few weeks until I got used to the change and the new lifestyle. Weeks turned to months, and pretty soon I really didn’t care any longer. I knew I was gaining weight. I had to go up a size in uniforms. NONE of the pretty new clothes I had bought myself fit, but I seriously did not give a damn.
Well, honestly, I am still at the job and yes I still hate it. But I have learned to deal a little better with the stress. But frankly, my main concern right now is fitting into my uniform. Right now I am in the largest size my company offers and I cannot button the bottom two buttons of my jacket, it is depressing as **** and looks horrible. If I gain any more I won’t be able to wear my uniform, and if I can’t wear my uniform I can’t work. I also have a problem with street clothing. When I lost the weight, I threw away all my “Big” clothes, and right now I have 2 pair of pants I can actually wear, and one of those are pretty tight. So, anyway. Goal #1 – be able to button up my uniform. Goal #2 get back into the clothes I was wearing before. Goal #3 Maintain that.
Here I go again.
PS. I am fully aware that I owe a lot of my success the first time around to this board, that is why I have come back here this time.

How are things otherwise in Japan? Are you still teaching? Teachers wear uniforms? I'm still here plugging away at it still waiting to find Onderland. Maybe we can BOTH get there this time!
