    Induction -- Day Four!!!

Another step closer...and not much more to go to finish Induction. I really look forward to the weekend to see the difference (even though it may be small) in how my clothes fit. I know that after two weeks there should really be a nice change in the way they fit. Yahoo!

I'm not sure if I'm going to check my progress and report at the end of week one or after the two weeks. What is everyone else going to do?

I feel slightly off at times; mostly at night. The good thing is I try to go to sleep before I think I'm going to start getting really hungry. I've only really had a mild headache...nothing major and haven't taken any med for it.

This morning we had the Bacon and Swiss Quiche. Here's the link to the recipe: http://users3.ev1.net/~fontlady/bacon_and_swiss_quiche.html

Nope. Haven't exercised yet. I will get there...just give me a day or two when the energy is supposed to go up and then I won't be able to sleep and will just pop out of bed. Just a little patience.

Well...how is everyone else doing from overnight and for today?

    Best Wishes!

    Your little Induction Buddy!

Woo hoo for you Kat. I used to use the "go to sleep instead of eating" tool myself when I first started Atkins. It works great!

        Goodmorning,

That recipe sounds great, I will try it! I know your clothes will feel so much better, especially by the end of the two weeks. That will help to keep the fuel on our motivation fire! I already feel the bloat is dissipating, which is very nice.

I also felt the pangs last night. Mine were for something sweet. So I got on here and perused the threads and then started filling out the adoption paperwork for our new (7 year old) daughter. That will keep me busy for a few days!

And I should be headache free now!

Kat, if you want to post your results after a week, by all means post away. I for one, am looking forward to seeing it.

If housework was good excersize, I would be in great shape! Anyway, I had better get to it.

        Have a great all!

          Re: Induction -- Day FOUR!

Day four here, and I've still got that mild but persistent headache. Hope this is the last day. In my past attempts at Atkins, I usually had a pretty rough day 4, so I'm looking forward to this day being over already! I have a job interview today, and what's motivating me to stick to the plan today is that if I get the job, I won't even fit into my size 12 pants, so I better get crackin! LOL!
I was feeling noshy last night, so I too used the "grab a book and go to bed" plan. Wednesday nights are hard for me, because I work really late and my office orders out; last night it was Italian, but they got me a salad and I had some left over pumpkin soup.

When I was single I did that too. I went to bed when I was hungry...somtimes that would be seven or eight o'clock...at least I got my rest!!

Wanna, you've done so well. Do you have a "melting" page or a page showing all your weight loss so far? Just curious...

              Urban,
Good luck on your job interview!!! You will do great and you look great by the way!
I know exactly how your head is feeling. Take some ibuprofen and hopefully it will taper off and end the "flu" for you! Ibuprofen doesn't normally help my headaches until the end of the "flu" period. I wishing it away for you right now.

Wow! Isn't it a wonderful feeling to feel the bloat finally go away! It feels so good. This WOE makes you feel so good (after a few days)...I wonder why I go off sometimes...hum...

I'm glad that you are past the headaches...they sure aren't very fun, ay? Yes! I think there is a site that does tell you how many calories you burn with housework...so it is a metabolism booster!! You go girl!!

Thanks Kat. Nope...no melting page. I haven't been taking a lot of pictures...I hate the camera.

It is something how our bodies get so addicted to things like caffeine, sugar, etc. that when we stop ingesting them we go into withdrawals like an addict. I wonder if we went off veggies if we'd go through withdrawals? Or off meat? I bet not.

Best wishes on your job interview!! Let us know how it turns out.

Congratulations for not being tempted by the food last night and having a salad. Our boss bought lunch yesterday too and I just got a salad. Yeah! One more victory!! One more step closer to changing our habits, ay?

Thanks for posting and sticking with us!!

What about adding how many inches you have lost in your siggie? You're lost a lot of weight and I bet the inches are really high too.

That's a good idea...I just have to find room in my signature.
