      Hey Erin!

I'm here. I was waiting for Matt to come home and got up to check my email and pulled up several posts and just haven't gotten back to this one yet. (I always have about 20 up and it takes me a while to go through and read all of them.) Do you go to the "New Posts" spot on the toolbar too? There always seems to be something new to look at, ay?

I still feel blah, but it may be because I'm hungry. I got my water in, ate some olives this morning and a piece of cheese at lunch and will probably eat our leftover hamburger for supper with veggies. I just haven't been hungry, but I know I need to put something in and that it might make me feel better. Other than that I've been sleeping off and on all day.

(Matt came in and I'm back to continue)

Thanks for checking on me. I'll be back.

Re: Induction -- Day Eight -- Week Two Begins

So good to see your great messages again. Oh, and I saw your uber cute puppy dog, what a sweet, sweet face.
My dog daughter is right here with me. She usually curls up next to my computer chair. She is the best!
Can't wait to see Donky's post. I am living vicariously through all of you who are stepping on the scales! Tee hee!!
As of right now I do not feel like I have lost any weight. I hope it is just my mind playing tricks on me. I am really serious about not seeing the 230's on the scale when weigh next week! It will crush me! Wow, that doesn't sound good does it? I shouldn't let the numbers freak me out. Oh well, we'll see what happens.

Off to do my crunches and drink a glass of water.

        Erin

Nope, not sure and never priced it. You could start a thread and see if anyone else has. I've read that some people do skin brushing and that seems to get rid of cellulite and helps with the saggy skin. I haven't tried it yet, but may look into it soon.

You're such a crazy girl! Thanks for the sweet words...and I guess I'll stay the same as always -- the little angel today...(hee hee)

And of course tonight is one of those nights where I need to have dinner prepared by 4:00, so we can heat it up in a jiffy as the family trickles back in from their various activities.

I have pretty much decided to stay on induction for two more weeks after this and then try out the OWL's I have never used them before, so I will need to get my book out and get ready. I now know I have to use the OWL's to make this WOE a lifetime thing.
How silly we are to think we can figure this WOE out on our own, when Dr. Atkins has so generously and neatly laid it all out for us in DANDR!

I'm so glad everyone here, is doing so well. You all motivate me tremendously and I look forward to seeing your post's everyday!!!

Does anyone know where you can find Xanthan Gum???

                WATER~WATER~WATER!!!!!!
I can second that emotion! (About being one week in -- and the worst part being over.) Whew!

I haven't planned any meals either since I've been under the weather -- thank goodness for leftovers -- I ate a few bites of hambuger & green beans tonight (not much), but at least Matt had something hot and hardy to eat.

I hope your dinner turned out well after all.

I've never tried OWL before either and I'm anxious to see how it works.

Yes, I must say I sure look forward to coming to this thread and seeing how everyone is doing. You always put a smile on my face and the hope to succeed. Thank you for sharing your experience with me and everyone else.

Oh, my first place I'd look for Xanthan Gum is the health food store. If not there, then on the internet to shop for a good price.

I've gotten all my water in plus some so I'm happy that at least that is working out fine. (With my nose stopped up I have to breathe through my mouth so it makes my throat dry...)

I hope you have a great night! On to Day Nine tomorrow!!

I think I'm addicted to the ADBB!! I can't wait to read all the new posts and see what's going on in everyone's day. Since we're all doing this together I like reading your thoughts for the day also. I get up every now and then just to walk around, but can't stay up long 'cause then I start feeling sicky -- so I try to come visit.

Let us know how you do if you decide to weigh. It is so exciting to see everyone's progress. I was going to try and wait until the end of Induction.

I've had tuna for breakfast before! Odd how you can come up with so many ideas when you want a change over the eggs...are you getting tired of eggs?

Anyway, I'm muddling through today, didn't exercise because of the pounding head, but trying to keep up on my water.

Oh my gracious!! I hope your headache goes away!! I was thinking the worst part was over (on the headaches). I sure hope it was just something odd and not still the Induction Flu.

I must say I am impressed that I don't have an appetite, but I know that it is soooo wrong to go this long without eating.

I'll do better, I promise. After all I am tryin2lose!!!!!!!!
(giggle) I know what you mean. A few years ago when I did Induction I had to make myself eat something for lunch (a slice of cheese) because I'd forget. It is such a nice feeling not being a slave to our appetites, ay?

George Stella on Food Network, has a soup called Mamma Stella's Strachiatella. I have no idea how that is spelled. It is like an egg drop soup. I think it would be good for you, so mayby your guy can look it up on the foodnetwork.com under George Stella or Low Carb and Lovin It and make it for you. If I knew how to put the link on here for you I would!!!

Thanks! When you wrote this I found a recipe here on the board for egg drop soup and I still may make some yet! I almost crave it for some reason -- even after all the eggs...go figure!

We think Shadow is so cute too! Thanks for the nice message!! I would like to get a dog like your dog daughter -- one that will curl up by me or sit on my lap. Shadow is too wild (energetic) and can't sit still.

Yes, it is exciting to see everyone's results! I can't wait until the end of the week either!! I know I probably lost because of being sick and not eating much, but I don't want to lose it that way.

I know you will have lost weight because you are doing everything right. And even when the "after Induction stall" happens people still lose inches and not poundage...so try and keep up with that too so when you feel discouraged, you'll still see results.
