  • Anyone re-starting tomorrow?

    Hi All- I am back for real this time, went food shopping and everything for the induction way. 2 weeks starts tomorrow for me, anyone else? I want to be at goal by September, hope I can do it!

    Hi There!

    I re-started Induction just this past Thursday. I, too, want to reach my goal by September. I did exactly what you did. The night before I re-started I went grocery shopping and then on Friday and Saturday I cooked up quite a bit of yummy induction stuff. I have even eliminated coffee this time around.

    Anyway I wish you the best. You can do do this! It sounds like you're more prepared this time around.

      I tried to restart with some others last week, but nobody really committed so i will commit with you!

        Hi thanks for responding, I am nervous as I always am in restarting. I always set myself up for failure. Tomorrow for breakfast I am going to have 2 hard boiled eggs, lunch romaine lettuce, cucumber, tomato, feta and 1/4 of a cheeseburger crumbled on top W oil and red wine vinegar. Not sure about dinner yet, sound safe???? Thanks

          I am 27F, my name is Leah. I lost 30lbs lastr year on atkins, I was not the best I could be but as I was on and off the weight came off slowly, this time I want to just do it and not go on and off. I hgave 2 little girls 20monhts and 5 years old. I work fulltime and I am in nursing school, I( am married to one great guy that loves cooking low carb for me Can't wait to do this as a team!

              Hi Leah!

              In the past, I have alway set my self up for failure as well. This time around it simply just can't happen, b/c, I have found some really great recipes on this forum and I have made me enough casseroles and quiches to get by over the next couple of weeks. You just have to plan ahead and keep Induction Friendly foods made up so that you don't reach out and grab the "junk".

              A little about me... I have a 3 year old boy and and 18 mo. year old girl. However, you are lucky in the fact your husband likes to cook the Atkins way. My husband is a meat and potatoes guy. He doesn't like veggies at all. Although he will, finally, eat my broccolli.

              Anyway, I'll check in with you tomorrow.

                I have a little girl who is 3 yrs old! I work full time as a vet nurse.
                I will check in with you daily! Its much easier when you have a buddy to help ya along.

                YOur menu tomoorrrow sounds good. I will prolly do sausage for breakfast and tuna and veggies for lunch. Not sure about dinner yet either.

                Do you have a exercise schedule in place? That will really help ya along.
                It has helped me loose 40 lbs siince Jan.

                  Good Morning All-


                  Today is the day!

                  Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs

                  Snack: 2 cerely stalks with cream cheese

                  Lunch: salad, lettuce, cucumber,tomato,feta w/oil and vinegar

                  dinner: not sure yet!

                  What is everyone eating today???

                  Exercise today is a 30 minute walk for me!

                    So far today, I have had an omlette with sausage & cheese & some coffee with Splenda & cream.



                    For lunch, I was thinking about some tuna with mayo. Yummy.

                          Sounds like you are on track for today! That's great!
                          Just wanted to touch base and let you know what I've had so far today:

                          Breakfast: Mock Danish (1)

                          Lunch: Cheeseburger Quiche (1 serving), 1 cup (raw) spinach with 1/2 boild egg, 3 slices of cucumber, and 1 TBSP.grated cheddar cheese, with green goddess salad dressing (1TBSP)

                          Dinner: Cheesy Chicken Broccoli Casserole (1 Serving)

                          I will check in on you either later this evening or sometime tomorrow! Hope your day ends on a great note!
