  • 1 month stats great progress!!

It's my one month on Atkins progress report as promised. I can say I'm very happy with my results so far. I am currently weighing in at 145. One month ago I was at 159. That's 14 pounds!!!!! I have been excersising too, and I feel so great since I've changed my old habits and started a healthy program. I posted this here, because I want all of you STACRs to know that success is right around the corner, You just have to fight for it a little. I have had so many lows, because of emotional eating, and this is the only way I've successfully broken the cycle mentally and physically. Don't give up!! This works!
As for my measurements, I'll just give you the quick version of inches lost:
    Chest 1 inch gone !
    midriff 4 inces!!!!!
    hips 1 inch
    booty 2 inches
    mid thigh left-1 1/2, right-2 inches
    bicep 1/2 inch off both
    calves- 0
Although my sister said my head is smaller, I unfortunately failed to get a measurement
Thanks for all the support that has helped me get to this point on this journey. The posts, and people here have played a huge part in my success. I will get before and during pics up this weekend!

Don't lose your head! LOL Great job! Yes, you are an inspiration. Congrats on breaking the 150 mark. That 15 pounds must be making a huge difference in how you look, especially seeing your inches lost. I've just completed 2 weeks & am at 8 lbs. We're at about the same weight goals. I look forward to getting under 150!!! I'll check & see if you have a journal. It'll keep me motivated. Thanks for your post!

Okay, I have been sitting here thinking, WHAT ARE YOUR SPECIFIC GOALS THE NEXT MONTH...
Are you a step ahead, and have the next step planned out. What do you want to accomplish with this new place you are in...
Some times we fail because we fail to plan. I am already planning for Jan. 2007. I am actually starting to look ahead to Nov 8th too, that's day 100....
Jan is really too far ahead, 100 days is still to daunting, but I can certainly keep focused on where and what I am seeking to accomplish in Sept...Short steps, leading to a big place.....
          What's next blackdiamonds...you powerful gem

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Jess, I have to say that the eating part is going so well that I haven't put much thought into making any changes as far as that goes. Where I am focusing on is my fitness goals. I've been working out regularly since I started this, but I am definately looking to add something or push myself harder on the treadmill. I am really happy with the benefits I've gotten from the cardio. I want to work on my flexability too.
For now, that's my goals for the next month.

Very cool...How many people do we know who did not keep a step ahead, and when they arrived, since there was not another step, things stopped right there..If you have ever dieted for a vacation and then unraveled all your hard work, you know what i mean...
I am learning to look ahead, and keep a step ahead....
