I'm sitting here sweating like a pig after running over 2 miles on my treadmill this morning. Major accomplishment for me, when I started I had to walk the entire 30 min at about 3.3 and made a little over a mile. I've been doing the SI6 program for the last couple of weeks instead of running, but I decided to get back on the treadmill today and see how I was. I managed to alternate 3-4 minute sprints at 5.5-6 in between walking at 3.5, and got a great workout. Felt good. I'm sure the 37 pounds not on my frame helps, but I credit a lot of it to the leg muscles SI6 has built up. I wasn't stopping because of my legs, but rather because of my lungs
. The scale finally nudged down a bit for me this morning so I'm hoping I broke out of the stasis I was in. On Thursday my work is having our weigh-in for our biggest loser contest. I've lost the most weight by far, but possibly not the most percentage. There's a guy that started at 196 and is down like 26 pounds, also from low carbing (though not strictly Atkins). I had him going into Friday, but if he kept losing and I didn't pick up the pace he'd overtake me. Ah well, I could use that $85 I'd win! Have a great morning everyone.
