    Re: Wed Check in

I'm just so excited to LIKE exercise. I like it because I know I'm doing a total program to help my body. Eating right AND exercising. Before, I'd exercise and burn enough calories to cancel out that candy bar I ate - yikes!!

I'm also loving the weather and want to be outside more and more. Losing the weight, I'm not a HOT as before and I have the energy and desire to do more

Next week I will have to make some changes to get the exercise in... oh well. that's life. Full of changes. I do pilates.. no really major moves..and it has weights. Most of it is in one position and doing moves with legs or arms. It's really nice. I do the buns and thighs and then the arms/shoulders and waist trimmer. I do believe it's working!

      Re: Wed Check in

Jenna - I'm so glad to be back! I'm feeling better all ready.

Ok, so I made it through day 1 and have moved on to day 2. So my boss shows up with brocolli cheddar potato soup that his wife made me (she also works here part of the week). I am happy to report that I have stashed the soup away and will take it home to DH or to wash the dish if he doesnt' want it. The major point - I did not falter out of guilt and eat it. Yay!

You guys are doing so awesome!!!!! Those meatballs sound good! Do you have a specific recipe you use to make them?

Yeah Sarah!!! Good for you!!!! No reason to hurt her feelings.. but she don't have to know what really happened to it!

Meatballs - I take one packet of lipton beefy onion soup mix and put in 3/4 cup of warm water. let sit until onions plump back up. Add this to 2 pounds of ground meat. Mix well. I usually add garlic powder, black pepper. Shape into small meat balls. Brown in skillet. I made the korean meatballs from linda's site. ehh... all that work and you really couldn't taste anything other than meat. I did like her sauce for it though and that sometimes for stirfry veggies with shrimp

I think I made about 1/4 of my ground meat in to balls.. need to shape the others into patties and freeze them. Then they are ready to go! Quick meals. I use to do a lot of bulk cooking and this something that I still try to keep on hand - it's something we all like to make in a hurry. Beats packaged patties from the store. I buy my ground meat in bulk when it's on sale too. Once, I walked out with over 40 pounds of ground meat LOL My sister and I did a cooking session that day. It was awesome! Lots of prepared foods I really need to do that again with the holidays coming up and time of the essence!

          Happy Wednesday!
I am having a great day!! I am a little sore from my swimming workout last night, AND my eyes are still red, but wow I really worked hard and slept deeply--so I woke up rested, for once!!

I also am proud that my pants are REALLY loose, so loose I look like a plumber (buttcrack alert). The amazing thing is that I wore these about 10 days ago, and they were tight! Going back to do a clean induction REALLY paid off--I did everything by the book, and I feel awesome.

          YAY Wednesday!!!

Day 2 is going okay for me. I feel better than I did yesterday. I need to look up some yummy recipes this weekend and make some good things. I'm not having anything too exciting this week.

                  Great job Amber!

Thanks for sharing your meatball recipe Rachel. I am interested in learning to cook - and actually have it taste good. My poor DH does most of the cooking. If I cook its hit or miss on if it tastes good, lol. I'll have to try meatballs. DH would love them!
