        Re: Freaking OUT!

I do feel proud, and I have worked so hard to put my life back in the zone where I am proud of what I am doing...3 months ago, I was embarassed and ashamed and creating a mini me in my daughter...THe shame and lack of control depressed me and made me feel horrible and helpless...I can back to ATkins and slowly have day by day rebuilt my life.
I am proud of the numbers, and the only one I truly can control is the days participating!!!

          Re: Freaking OUT!

I must say about the comment for it costs so much for new clothes. Think about the money your saving doing Atkins. I know for (my wife and I) we would spend close to 150 dollars in food prior to Atkins. Now I budget her for 80 dollars worth of food that lasts us 2 weeks and sometimes even 3. Thats a big savings if ya ask me.

Cool thing is I am going to have to get Tammy some new clothes pretty soon. She was trying on some pants that she had from the day we met and she is fitting in some of those.

            Re: Freaking OUT!

I guess that's one good thing about doing this for the second time--I still have all my old "skinny" clothes that I can't wait to get back into.

I did go shopping about a month ago and bought some transition pants (khakis, dress pants, jeans) to fit me before I get into the skinny pants, and within a couple weeks I'll probably be out of the transition pants unless I can work some magic with a belt.

So Jess--keep up those "freak outs!" Except maybe try on your intended outfits a couple days before the big event, so you can really milk the shopping experience for all it's worth!

              Re: Freaking OUT!

Kudos to you Jess! I bought a pair of jeans this weekend in the size I have been buying forever, and I wore them for like 2 hours and had to pull them up and pull them up. That skinny feeling NEVER gets old! Way to go!!!
