    Abundance...
I think I am in a season of abundance. I feel it with me everyday.
I feel full of life! I am enjoying the fullness of each day...By the way, My Days are now PACKED, thanks to high energy and confidence and zeal for the fullness of life.

I don't know about you, but when you have worked this program to your highest ability, a real sense of goodness starts to come in...As foods quiet down, thanks to ketosis...a good feeling starts to prevail. Some days are exhausting, but most days are full...If you find yourself in the same ol same ol...seek outside that box for something new.

I found this place (pic taken yesterday) when I left my BOX! Seeking more life. What I found is abundant beauty...Get out of the routines, get out of the drudgery, go find something beautiful outside and enjoy it.

I hope all of you have a great day! Work hard, let that confident life rise up. Enjoy the energy that Atkins provides...He meant for that energy to propel you into a better life for yourself!

    HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Well I am excited today--bf and I are going to hang out with our friends and just chill. We don't get to hang out much because our work schedules ONLY align on certain Sundays, and very rarely. And these are friends who don't have to get wasted to have fun (unfortunately, there's a lotta those types in town).

I am ALSO dragging my boyfriend to the gym today. Remember a couple weeks back, he said how inspired he was, and how he was going to join the gym with me? Still hasn't happened. Oh well. Perhaps today is the big day!

      Re: Sunday Check in

wow jess, that picture is gorgeous! I'll have to post some of the pictures I'm taking here in the mountains - it's beautiful!

I managed to not cheat yesterday on my 16 hours of travel. I had a scrambled egg w/ cheddar and bacon sandwich for lunch, leaving out the bread of course! When I scraped it off the bread it was about 2-3 eggs worth and 8 pieces of bacon. Imagine eating that WITH a big roll? My god, no wonder this country is gaining so much weight! So, that was eye opening!

Then I didn't eat again until I got to the mountains, and then had a bison ribeye with asparagus and a few slices of beets. I almost couldn't finish that either!

Today I've had my string cheese and a rockstar. Turns out that there is an EMPTY refrigerator in my room! Isn't that crazy??? I think it is. I have tuna fish for lunch, and I think i'm going to walk down to town and buy some of those caesar salad kits and some tupperware too.

I'm so happy that I'm so committed to this. When I was in the restaurant at the denver airport that pizza smelled SO GOOD, and I didn't have any. Last night the bison came with potatoes, and I didn't even eat one bite. So I'm doing really well. I think this whole thing about the per diem has actually strengthened my resolve - i'm not going to let something like that throw me off! Of course, that bison steak was 50$ last night, not including wine and tip (I had half a glass of wine). So, the per diem is clearly something I'm ignoring anyway. (But come on, how often do you get to have bison steak???).

The breakfast buffet at the hotel is 28$. Even a continental breakfast is 20. Anything with eggs is 24. I'm SO GLAD that I brought food with me!!! The nearest restaurant is a 20 minute walk (good exercise!). So thank goodness, and thank you to everyone who helped me brainstorm!

                Good morning,
Last night my fiance and I played chaparones at my daughter's high school dance. I'm most proud of the fact that I got through the night with Pork Rinds and a Diet DrPepper (no carbs). Not tooooooo long ago it would have been me, the Lays Potatoe Chips and a regular Dr. Pepper. Hi everyone!

Jess, What a beautiful picture! I really see it as how we can have abundance in other things besides food.
Juli, have fun with your friends.
knicknack, Congrats on staying cheat free on your travels. Wow! Food sounds very expensive there. the fact that the $20 continental breakfast cost anything at all is a mind blower to me-they usually come with the room.
Dragonflymoon, I can't wait to hear how Luna likes her playroom.
                  Hi Deserthorn and Pumababi.

Jess.. that picture is beautiful! Today is my second official day of induction and I'm so happy I made the decision to come back to Atkins. I want all of you to know that you truly are an inspiration to me when I read your posts and see the pictures and the amounts of weight you've lost. And Jess... 96 days cheat free?? That's such an accomplishment and I hope I can do half as well.

Btw... someone needs to kick my butt in the exercise department though. I'm struggling with that.

Hi Folks! Nope, not in denver, I'm in alberta about 2 hours north of calgary in a swank ski resort. :P It's reallllly gorgeous here. When I get a chance I'll post a picture!

I just went to the store to buy salad kits for the room, and even THEY were expensive! They were over 6$! At home they're about 3.50. Sheeeesh! But I had a caesar salad, tuna fish, and a string cheese for lunch. I think i'm doing good!

That which doesn't kill us only makes us stronger. I think I actually learned the value of that (trite but true) phrase this week!

Good afternoon, everyone. I'm checking in for the first time since Thursday. I had some kind of "bug" on Friday, and was pretty sick all day, and very weak on Saturday. I'm heading back to normal, now, and will be just fine.

Jess, I LOVE that photo -- it's is almost breathtaking in its beauty.

Way to go Mystical...Exercise, do you have any home equipment or a gym membership?
Do you like to walk? I am a former exerciser...so we had a stationary bike collecting dust...a total gym, an elliptical and a weight machine, how pathetic that I only stared at them the last few years...
I picked the machine that I would bare the least amount of weight on...the bike and made it for 15 mins the first day...and slowly worked up to 5 miles...
It makes such a huge different when you exercise for 20 mins and exert yourself, it truly releases endorphines which them give you a boost of well being, or you get just happy and feel so successful...It's alot like Atkins at first the big steps of giving up the sugars, pastas, breads and such seem UNTHINKABLE and PAINFUL, then YOU ARE SOOOO GLAD, once you get into ketosis, and all calms down...Water and exercise are the same way, HARD TO START UP, but soooo good on the other side...tho I can't really say that about water, I never feel great after drinking it!
Water keeps me out of a lot of trouble...it keeps me full and gives me something to hold at parties, and drink, at parties, and it is something to groan about and focus on, and feel an accomplishment from finishing...It has lead me to many new and exciting spots, bathrooms mostly...and it's even helped me wake up in the middle of the night!!! Since I need to make pit stops every few hours...Water flushes the fat OUT.

It's kind of embarassing to admit... but yep, I have a treadmill, a gazelle glider, AND a gym membership. Embarassing because I've made such little use of them.

Tonight I'm getting on the glider and putting in some miles. Tomorrow I'm moving a tv to the room where the treadmill is. I just can't do it without something to watch! AND... tomorrow I'm getting my butt back to the gym. I took a vacation day tomorrow because of some dental work in the afternoon (YUCK!). So I have all day to myself and I'm going to start it off at the gym at 6:00 am. I'm a morning person and it makes me feel better to get it done and out of the way.

Water has never been a problem for me... I love love love it. It wakes me up at night too, but doesn't really make much difference. Water or not I'm usually awake every couple hours.

You know... I really hate that I've let the exercise slack. When I was doing it, I felt fantastic. And I loved going. I'll get that way again. Starting tomorrow.
