    Re: Monday Check in

I'm raring to go The day has started off so well and I'm planning on keeping it that way as much as I can. I love days like this. I have lots of goodies to eat today. Hubby grilled boneless/skinless chicken breasts wrapped in bacon and I made brocolli salad! (brocolli, mayo, vinegar, cheese, mayo) YUM! I may have to eat lunch for breakfast LOL

I'm eager to get on my gazelle today.. my legs are aching and I'm thinking I need some potassium. Woke up early and should have gotten out of bed instead of tossing and turning. I'll learn!

      Hello!
It's rainy here in Montana--all of the snow melted this weekend, so now all is just wet, wet, wet.
I am excited for Boot Camp class tonight, as I really overdid it yesterday, eating wise. I was just ravenous! But I did also drink a TON of water, so hopefully that counteracted it!
      Have a great day everybody!

Morning everyone! It's a good day. That's odd for me to say on Monday. I feel so energetic already. Did my November Abs, and stability ball push ups this morning and wanted to do my cardio, but I have to work. I always do my cardio in the evenings unless I get so lucky and get a day off occasionally! Have a good Monday all!

I'm here on this Monday morning too. It's a vacation day for me because I thought I was having a root canal (ugh), but they called at 8:00 this morning and rescheduled me for next week. So that leaves the whole day to ME which is rare. I've already worked in the yard, picking up limbs and sticks, raking, etc. I've gotten a workout already. I'm planning on the treadmill during my soap opera.

I was going to restart at the gym today but I've put that off until tomorrow. It's a gorgeous sunny day and we aren't going to have many more of those, so I'm going to take advantage and ride my bicycle. Gotta get that fresh air before the cold rainy fall weather hits.

Morning, all!! I've been away about a week because I was out of my office on assignment. It was non-stop and no time to log-on. Stayed on track food-wise but didn't drink enough water or get to go walking, climbing, etc. I am assuming that's why I haven't lost a pound. But, I missed your encourgement and am back. A little tired today and am not looking forward to this week, I'm hoping going out for a walk will increase my energies.

Hi everyone! From now to May, I should put "It's raining...building an ark" in my signiature. ha ha ha Luckily, my husband and I have always loved being out in "bad" weather. So if it's not too windy in San Francisco, we still may walk out on the Golden Gate Bridge like we used to, at least for a quick picture. We've tried to walk across a few times, only made it about 1/10th of a mile, then couldn't get back to land fast enough because of the cars screaming along at 60 mph just a few feet from me--petrifies me. LOL At least, we'll go to walk around Fisherman's Warf or the Exploritorium. And I promise I won't eat the world famous sour dough french bread or bring any home.

Morning Everyone! Well, I made it through my first day...yesterday..with no problems at all except for a headache. But its gone this morning. Struggling a little bit this morning...but have resisted the snack machine. Not hungry...just those addictions that have to pass and will with time.

BTW..I found where everyone was getting the little tickerfactory scale...but how do I make it change each week when I weigh in? Do I go back to that site and do a new one each week?

                    Have a great day everyone!

Jst - same thing I ran into! I didn't want to make a new one each time, so I just put it in my siggy.

Gem, let me tell you about exercise! Girl, find something you enjoy doing and can do it long term. Then set a goal and do that for a week. Bump it up each week and keep going. I try to get mine done early and coast on those endophines all day long! It works! I look forward to my exercise. Clears my head, my heart and it pumps me full of energy. I watch tv so it goes fast. I plan my day and sometimes meals. It reinforces my desire to stick with Atkins, that Atkins and exercise works and it pays off in the end. I am moving on down that scale!

Welcome jst4games. That's so good you made in through your first day. I think that was the hardest day for me--after that, I knew I could do it. I thought it used to be we could just go into our siggy and change the number in the ticker, but now I have to make a new one each time, so I gave up on them and type it in under my name.

I have a ton of Energy. funny thing is that the Induction Flu didnt even happen except for a very mild headache in the morning on Saturday. The rest of the time I was doing great!! I am waiting for my Lypolisis stix to get here. For me those and daily weigh ins are a huge motivator. When I get off track, I dont want to weigh...
