    Re: Check in Wed 11/15

Thanks Juli for the reply! I'm still on a high from the loss. I feel like one of the members on the biggest loser show. LOL Which by the way I love to watch! Your pictures are an inspiration to me too! You have done so well!

    Have a great day!
    On my way!

Yummy! Hamburger pie out of fresh venison? Sounds like something I had better add to my menu!

Everyone sounds like they are doing so well, and are keeping motivated. This is a great place. I can't imagine trying to have an Atkins kind of life without all the lovely support you find here!

                Yeah for Everyone!!!

I however cannot seem to stay on the proverbial "wagon" (or bike as I have described it this morning).

For all the newbies (and everyone else out there):

DO NOT CHEAT . . . DO NOT CHEAT . . . DO NOT CHEAT

OK, now that that's out of my system. Have a great night everyone, drink your water , and stay on track (Trust Me)

                  Re: Check in Wed 11/15

Alright, so I'm posting at 9:00 when the day is almost over. Let me start from this morning. Woke up around 7, got my son ready and took him to school. I came back, and normally I don't do this............but..........it was raining, and cold outside......I went back to bed. I ended up getting back up at 11. I truly do love my days off. Fixed me a few turkey/cheese roll ups for lunch, then changed and headed to the gym. I did the elliptical, then the treadmill. While I was reading a magazine it mentioned the stair stepper, so I gave that a shot too. Glad no one was around to see me do that! Afterwards, I did abs and push ups on the stability ball for my November challenges. The challenges are a Godsend. Go ahead, challenge me....tell me I can't do something. After the gym I went home and did about 6 loads of laundry, cleaned and re-organized the bathroom (It better stay that way!) and then began preparing supper. Nuggets for my son, and the pancakes for me that I mentioned in the other thread. I plopped down for a few on the computer then at the urging of my son, I put together a new toy that he had gotten for his birthday. A 45 minute put-together toy. Once again, I'm checkin in on the boards. I am so happy to see all of the new STACers arriving. It is exciting to know that you all have come to the right place to begin your journey again. Without these boards, I believe my do-over would have failed miserably and came crashing down once again. I am a stronger person both mentally and physically because of the great people and inspiring words here. Love you guys! To the newcomers, keep close to the boards and if you have questions, or need a shoulder........you're in good hands.

Hello, Ol' Griz having a sluggish day, came home and did not eat much or take vitamins, not a good thing. Don't get sloppy on the logistics of the diet. IT IS PROVEN TO WORK BUT, A FEW GUIDELINES TO FOLLOW! Typical man, we find out the hard way.

Old Indian definition for Vegetarian; poor hunter

I think this is me. Still no venison in the freezer but, going to travel to Ohio on a hunting trip this weekend. Venison jerky may be just around the corner.
