    I'm back!

Hey everone who might remember me (and even those who don't I'm back.....I've played atkins hooky for such a long time...BAD ME! lol

...and just what did that bring me? 24 pounds that's what! I just wanted to say hello.....and that I started my induction today....I seriously am going to need some new recipes because I hate to say this, but I had eggs this morning and I literally had to choke them down....They nauseated me....I made them the way I used to when I did atkins before.....and obviously my body does not yet like the taste of eggs again.....That never happened to me before...Maybe it is purely psychological.

BUT I am so excited to see the progress of some of the folks who have stayed here! ichyamama-something (I can never remember your screen name- but you will know who you are) OMG YOU LOOK AWESOME!!!!!! and running marathons even!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!

One very positive change in my life since I have been here......I have adopted a VERY regular exercise routine. I run on the treadmill for two 30 min. sessions a day...sometimes more....and with all of that exercise and a "regular" diet I have not lost much weight...so I KNOW atkins (having been the only thing that worked for me in the past) HAS to become my way of life if I want to attain and maintain my weight loss goals....

Oh.....and I have missed your smiling face Cleochatra! (((HUGS))))

So here I am...I'm back....this time I'm kicking butt and taking names lol

          Re: I'm back!

Thanks! I'm really happy to be here I had a great first day "back" on induction...I did feel like I was eating constantly...a lot more food than usual....a little here a little there...but all the right stuff for induction. My numbers on fitday were -

          Cals: 1759
          Fat 66%
          Protein 31%
          Carbs 3%

I think that's pretty close to what we are shooting for on induction right?

                  Re: I'm back!

Welcome back to a great place Kate, i look forward to watching your progress. As for breakfast, i get tired of eggs to so basically i chop some bacon (no sugar added kind), add 1/2 large can of shredded chicken, and throw in a cup of zucchini or squash or preferred veggie. There is also a chicken cupcake like thing that i use to make that was great for breakfast also, i will find it and post it. You may also be able to "disguise" the eggs in maybe a quiche. i know someone use to talk about jimaca pancakes i think it was or frittatas.

Glad to see you raring to go. I look forward to learning from your experience.
May you all be losers, Sher
