I vote for pictures...New pictures in our siggys this weekend! How about that. I think we all need to put up a picture.
This morning I am going to the park and meeting Adena, she is a member here. We met here, and found we lived near each other. This will be our 3rd time exercising today. I am taking the camera along and we will take a picture to be posted!
I am going to measure this morning too. Newbies, have you measured yet? Dont let it slip past you....You loose more inches than pounds because fat takes up more space than lean muscle, and as you exercise you build lean muscle, so some times it looks like you are not loosing, but at times when it looks that way, most often the tape measure will tell different.
For those in the first week, HANG in there the induction flu will start to come to an end, or you will be done with it! Watch out the weekends are very different than the structured-ness of a work week. You can get thru it, but take snacks in the car, avoid trigger locations, like the movies, or sports bars, or the mall and foodcourt. Avoid places and situations that overwhelm you...Just say NO for now...Be smart, don't put yourself at a huge football party right now if you can't handle it, and if you go, eat before hand and take a water bottle with you, and cling to it.

Good ole routine, always makes me feel better. My sister and I are planning a ground meat freezer cooking session and I'm scouring low-carb recipes so I can get some quick meals in there for ME too. How nice it will be to have foods prepared and premeasured. I'm so hungry for stuffed bell peppers LOL Even if I just have ziplocks of cooked/seasoned ground meat to pull out.. it will sure help speed things up. My biggest complaint with Atkins is everything has to be prepared. No instant/boxed stuff. It's great to eat so well.. but it sure cuts into my time. I'm hoping this will help.
