Ive been working my butt off for the last 7 days and Ive started PMS. Im bloated!!! Im really trying not to get discouraged about it but when I threw on a pair of jeans they were TIGHT!!!! They should be getting looser!! I havent weighed myself today ( no more scale, I cant find it ) but I know that Ive lost 5lbs but how the heck can I get this water weight to disapear?! Im drinking over 100oz of water a day and Im making a huge effort to watch the sodium is there anything else I can do??

I think you are doing all that you can. Try not to let it bother you, its just a fact of life. It will be gone in a few days and you can get back to normal. Just remember to stay the course with Atkins and not let this set you back. This too shall pass

The only thing you can do is wait! I went through this last week on my first week of induction! It was terrible. But, stay the course and it will pay off. If it helps, here's my weight loss since the first:

        Day 1 - 292
        Day 2 - 289
        Day 3 - 287
        Day 4 - 288
        Day 5 - 287
        Day 6 - 288
        Day 7 - 289
        Day 8 - 289
        and, wait for it...
        Day 9 - 284 !!!

Should disappear within a couple of days after TOM, and you know we call that a "WHOOSHIE" when things just whoosh away...You can eat radishes, I do it all the time, they are a natural diuretic! They make you tink!!! but they also help rid excess water retention.
Everybody is right, just live with it, I always wear looser clothes during that, and I absolutely refuse to panic or feel negative...I know, and YOU KNOW THIS TOO WILL PASS...don't let it trip you out!

              Re: PMS Bloat

There's an ingredient in some PMS formulations called Pamabrom which may help shed some of the salt & water bloat. In any case, scales should not be heeded until afer TOM. Bloating before & during can add several water pounds, and only frustrate you. The fat burning continues, so long as you don't give in to PMS munches with cheating. You'll see!!

(((Lacey)) I am in the same boat, but I made the horrible mistake and got on the scale this morning. Hubby and I started induction together, he lost 6lbs already.. I weight EXACLTY THE SAME AS I DID ON DAY ONE.

I sobbed for about 2 hours, knowing FULL WELL my TOM is due tomorrow or Thursday.

My breasts hurt, I am bloated, puffy and my skin is horrible and I feel like just throwing in the towel and resign to being overweight forever.

I haven't got out of my baggy PJ's for 2 days now, I yell, rant and rave like a lunatic... and today I yelled at my hubby because I AM THE ONE DOING ALL THE WORK, COOKING, PLANNING, SHOPPING AND THINKING AND HERE HE IS THE ONE WHO COMES TO THE TABLE, EATS, AND LEAVES... AND HE IS THE ONE LOSING WEIGHT!!

I know it will pass, but man......... I forgot how frustrating it is when I feel this way and am also trying to lose weight.

Im right there with you. Im doing this all by myself though. Everyday I think, geesh Im not losing anything whats the point?? But then I also think well not losing is better than gaining and remind myself that it WILL come off. Im in sheer determination this time around. 8 days and not one single cheat, or even the thought of it. My fiance told me last night he thought my butt looked smaller and I yelled at him and told me to stop lying to me He just laughs, he's such a good guy to put up with me! I dont know what it is about this go round but Im dead-set on getting this weight off, I dont care what I have to do. For now its drinking MORE water and staying away from the salty stuff ( although theres some bacon thats calling my name in the kitchen )
