    I find whenever I have ever had any alcohol whether in the cooking or just consuming I have a sm. weight gain until my body has gotten rid of it completely. I am sure you will be back down soon.

    I held my own today...I wrote in my above post about being at the school and they were ordering lunch out from the Tasty Treat. The menu wasn't as good as I had hoped. SO...I wrote my own. lol They offered a chicken ceasar salad but I didn't want to deal with dressing. I just wanted my mushroom swiss burger and a small side salad. The secretary came back and said that they couldn't do my order as requested. I don't know why...I mean all they are doing is taking it from a bag and putting it into the bowl. lol So I ordered the Chicken Ceasar minus the chicken, croutons, dressing ya get the picture and got my burger on the side plain. I did get mayo and mustard on the side too but the mayo was the sweet kind. I was surprised the salad was pretty good without dressing...just a sprinkle of parmasen and my burger and it was delicious. They even had Cheese nips at the table a plate for everyone lol...I didn't eat a single nip. I had no desire.

    I had a good day and wanted to share it.

      Happy Monday everybody. Had a great workout this morning, but I am dragging my feet now. I am soooooo tired. I have a lot to do though so I need to get it in gear.

        Happy Monday everyone!!! Im still alive and kickin, though Im not posting much due to the fact that Im working two jobs now and hardly ever have time. My weekend went well, nothing too exciting happend...which is a good thing in my house!!! 6 1/2 miles? Holy crap!! I was so proud of myself for doing 2 Great job!!!! Have a good day everyone!!!

          Everybody is doing sooooo good!!!! Glad to hear from all of you!!!!

          The weather is beautiful here in Indiana, gonna get my butt in gear as soon as I go home and do some running. (Thank you Julie!!)

            I had a great weekend also, today is day 8 for me and I'm down 7.5 pounds, very exciting, glad to hear everyone is doing well.

              My keto sticks are still in the moderate range, walked about a mile today and up 2 flights of stairs in the middle of the walk. Trying to get in my water. I'm going about 100oz a day and would like to boost it.

                  Good evening all. After my disappointing Saturday, I picked myself up and have had a great last two days! I'm down a total of 10lbs now since my restart date (today starts week #3) so I'm feeling really good about that. lost about 3 inches so far too. Went outside in the beautiful Michigan weather and played with my son and dog for an hour today before heading back to work.

                  Started using the ketostix and they are consistently dark pink so I'm really excited about that!

                  Glad to hear everyone had a great weekend!!

                    I'm back for the second (real) time around. About 3 years ago, I lost 60 pounds, kept it off for about a year then fell way off the wagon. I'm up that 60 plus another 30 or so and I hate it. I hate everything about it in a way I've never admitted to myself before. I can't believe I've gotten here. I have so many clothes in my closet--a full wardrobe in about 10 different sizes. It's ridiculous. I can't stand up without pulling myself up with my arms. I am determined to be successful here. My scale doesn't go as high as I am so I'll need to lose 20 or so pounds before it will register. In the meantime, I'm going to measure myself--something I never did last time.

                    I spent yesterday cooking for the week which I find is absolutely critical to my success. I'm a single mom with a demanding job and I often need to eat on the go. There needs to be something legal around for me or I'll fail. So I'm making sure of it.

                    Right now, I'm going for a walk! Just decided that this minute. Later!
                    Losin' it!

                      Welcome rubymama! Sounds like you're determined and guess what? We're all here to help. YOU CAN DO IT! I'm in a very similar situation. I had Atkins going as a lifestyle for 3 years; had never looked better, then in Christmas '05, I felt like doing a little baking for the holidays. 25 lbs later, here I am. (This is Day 9 for me) I was so ashamed and embarassed, but I've learned not to be. What's most important is that we found the strength and fortitude to come back and are dedicated to making this our WOL.

                      I've found this forum incredibly helpful. When I feel myself starting to waver, I log on and read. I encourage you to do the same. Like I said before, we're all here to help. Hope you had a great walk!
