    I didn't notice, but we are the same age with the same goal, aren't we? Although when I get there, notice I said when, not if, I may lower it by about 10 pounds.

      I just noticed this morning that there are 3 or maybe 4 of us that usually check in daily from VA! I just moved here (Front Royal) last July and I love it.

        Good morning everyone!!

        Checking in...I got through my 2 week induction, with no desire to go off track. I am very happy about that!!! I started Power90 today, and later this evening planning on going to the gym (speed walk on the treadmill for 30 mins).

        Congrats on everyones progress so far!!!
        If you get off track, remember that every day is a fresh start.

          Thanks Floydgirl! I'm so skeered of those dvd's but I REALLY need the toning. I have a low metabolic resistance so I'm lucky to lose weight easily enough as long as I stick with the program, but my poor midsection is a mess from three pregnancies. I am VERY short waisted so I carry WAY out there and my skin shows it - yuck. SO in order to somewhat fix that I'm gonna need major help in getting my muscle tone back.

          I don't live in VA anymore (NC now) but have lived most of my life there in Sterling, the Leesburg and then Winchester!

            Hello all.

            Just checking in. My weekend was not good. Starting Friday night my throat hurt so bad. Not strictly my throat, more like all the surrounding things, the kind that makes you cringe when you swallow. I tooke tylenol all weekend, and that masked the pain. I caved and had a diet pepsi because it felt so good on my throat..the fizz. I'm in a rut, and not sure why. I feel like I am eating the same thing all the time..eggs/bacon; chicken/veggie/cheese/salad. I did it so well years ago but the lbs were melting off me so it was easy for me to eat ANYTHING back then so long as that weight kept coming off..I think I had hamburger patty platters (bacon/cheese/lettuce/etc) all the time and could have cared less.

            No weight loss still. I'm not entirely sure if I've lost anything since starting, since I bought the scale a week in, and it hasn't moved since. Today marks week 3.

                  Happy Monday Everyone! I was good all weekend. My ketosis sticks show dark purple but my scales show I am up 1 pound…Ugh! Oh Well, my tom is here (a week early) so maybe that is to blame. I have decided to make this week my “No Excuses Week”. I will exercise at least 5 days…No Excuses! I will not put one bite of food in my mouth that is not induction legal…No Excuses! I had my last shake yesterday and I am not buying anymore until I reach my goal weight. I will count and keep track of my net carbs…no more guessing…No Excuses! What is up with all the pizza? We had that last night too…and I wanted the crust soooooo bad but I just ate the toppings off a few pieces and had a side of broccoli and water chestnuts. I made some extra $$$ on my ebay auctions so I will be treating myself to a set of slim in 6 videos as well…gonna order them tonight…we need a area to log in daily and post our si6 results since so many of us are doing them…a challenge or something. Speaking of challenges…I feel motivated so I am gonna check the veggie challenge out and may hop onboard.





                  Question – Does Atkins throw off anyone else’s tom? It happened last time I did Atkins too. Very strange!

                    Kristy in the main atkins chat area there is a slim in 6 thread - I think there will be an official check in thread, but it hasn't started yet. I hope you will join us! I bought mine off ebay today....the other places I saw were around $60 and some plus shipping, I got mine for $54 shipped or something like that. If you look on ebay the auction I got mine from has the box around it, and it's a BIN of $39.99 with $15 shipping, they had 17 available when I bought mine.

                    I too have ditched the shakes - I have three left in the fridge but my goal is to not drink them. They don't stall me, but I find that they don't keep me full nearly as long as a "real" breakfast does so for now, they are off limits.

                    Also my TOM came a full week early this time - very strange indeed!

                      LOL! Well, according to another, they're ok. So there you go!

                      The set I want to get into someday are the Tae bo ones. Got plenty of walking, pilates, yoga, and abs and even one with smaller weights. The 20+ videos, the bike, the stablility ball, the step bench should be enough for now. Although at times I want an indoor bike. We'll see...

                      Off to attempt a one-mile walk. I'll let you know how crippled I feel when I get back... heh heh!

                        Skinnymom – just found it and posted asking to join. Kinda scary sounding but the results sound amazing! I had to stop the shakes...one day i had one for breakfast on one for lunch...had to remind myself that this is not slimfast! That is strange about TOM...now my pills are all out of order.

                          Hmmm - I am not sure what you should do about the pills?! I guess I would keep taking them as usual and maybe skip this month's placebo pills? That won't hurt you, and hopefully catch you up.

                            I thought about doing that...just going straight to the next pack. I bet it would work fine. The only other option would be to stop untill my next tom and start the sunday after but that is too scary of an option so forget that.

                              Yes don't stop taking them. I ran out of pills once and forgot to refill them and figured I'd be ok for one month. Yeah, my second child is almost six now We wanted them close in age but not as close as they ended up being
