        Trust me, vanity based goals are quite exceptable!!!

        This weekend I was performing in Bloomington (Indiana Univ college town, my sister went with me....) I sat down after my first break, and my sister was smiling. I said what's up with you, she said, that lady that just tipped you, said 'tell Scooter he's a sweetheart with an awesome voice and has a really nice butt.....'

        I was like 'sweeeeeet'. I just got hit on an didn't know it! (she tipped me $10.00 too......hahaha!)

        Those kind of compliments make this WOL even so much better.......

        So yes, vanity based goals are encouraged!! LOL!!

          Just a quick hello
          Congrats to you all on your fantastic losses~and Scooter on your nice butt!
          I'm feeling a little bloated this morn, which leads me to believe the dark cloud of PMS is approaching.

            Summer goals, to get out of the low 160's, I tend to hover in 1-3 lbs for quite a while (weeks) before I will drop a pound. but to lose any faster I would have to get under 20 carbs and stay there. If I get frustrated I will go under 20 for a couple of days and drop a pound otherwise I need the carbs for energy. It is working for me albeit slowly. Happy Monday

              Woo hoo Sandy and Scooter!! I have this pair of khaki shorts that I have had for EIGHT years. They are just the perfect shorts and seem to magically fit me no matter how big I get. Well I put them on yesterday and grabbed a top that was way too small and tight for me since I had my youngest daughter and OMG the shirt FIT! And even better, the shorts are starting to look sloppy! I was so excited, I actually felt kinda hot So the hunt for the new "perfect" khaki shorts is ON!

                Way to go Skinnymom!! Excellent! I just gave you 'rep' Doesn't that feeling just make it sooooo worth while. I love slipping into clothes that your sure just won't fit, only to find, they are way too loose!! Yeah baby!!!! Way to go!

                    Good morning everyone! My Summer goal is to fit into my size 12 tankini (Right now I am a size 16). I don't care if it is the last day of Summer. LOL

                    I have many reasons for losing weight, of course I want to be able to go into any store and look great in whatever I try on, but, I also want to feel great! Before starting back on Atkins, I was having a hard time with breathing, going to sleep, at times I felt like I had a ton of bricks on my chest, I just felt awful, and that made me depressed. After being on Atkins a couple of days, I couldn't believe how good I felt, I knew that was the best thing I could do for myself. Now, 3 weeks later, I am very happy, not only do I fit my 16's, I feel great!!

                    Congrats to everyone on their weightloss!! All of you are doing great!!!
                    If you get off track, remember that every day is a fresh start.

                        Hi all!

                        In quickly this morning--I had a GREAT weekend! My boyfriend and I met up with a friend in Billings for the weekend, and had an awesome time. I stayed 100% on plan, although I probably drank a bit too much. But it is not everyday that we get to see old friends! I managed to eat only legal foods, drink a gallon+ water, and exercise EACH DAY! I was also so thankful that I'd gone up all of the rungs of OWL. I had so many food choices available, I could eat at any restaurant I wanted to. So I had a great time, but now I'm exhausted--we hit the town pretty hard each night, and I didn't sleep in like the guys did--I got up and hit the gym! I was somewhat worried about the wild weekend, so I hopped on the scale, fearing I'd gained a couple pounds (of water most likely) but I'm actually DOWN 1/2 pound into the 180s. I hope I stay in the 180s for my weigh-in on Friday!

                          I also want to add continuing to come to this bulletin board as a goal. I really wanted to cheat before I started coming here. This has really motivated me to keep going strong, no thoughts about cheating since, and no more excuses to not exercise.

                            Happy Monday morning to all!

                            This summer, I plan to get some muscles going---real ones that you can see on my arms, legs and abs (not that I'll be showing those abs anytime soon..). I am going to work on building a solid muscle mass, partly for vanity but partly b/c I am 50 and I think my gradual muscle loss has slooooooooooowed down my metabolism. So I plan to rev it up and keep it up through more muscles!!! I'm also gonna stick to plan and be her on ADBB everyday for at least a check in so I can read about your successes!

                              Hello all. I'm simply looking forward to having the energy to run, and play with the kids this summer. It was so bad that last summer I didn't even get a season pass to our local amusement park, only the hubby and the kids did..I blamed it on a hectic schedule at work, but when it comes down to it, it was mostly because I was too lazy to walk around there when they went!

                                My goal for summer...exercise (6x/week) so I can run a 5k before summer ends, drink my water every day, and move onto pre-maintenance or maintenance byt the end of summer.
