  • Tuesday Morning Roll Call

    Good Morning Everyone! What is everybody doing sleeping in? Well this morning I was laying in bed and just feeling hormonal and getting discouraged... I got up and weighed...and I was down a lb I am almost hitting the 260s.. WOO HOO...

    I have to self talk myself out of things ALOT. I thought today.. I am making it through TOM without chocolate..Its been 7 weeks since I have had chocolate.

    I am proud of me Is there anything you are proud of?

    My clothes last night are falling off of me.. I showed one of the other moms and my underwear was showing in the front of my pants..lol (I wear long shirts) I can't wait to finally get into the next size down so I have something to wear..lol

    LOL, sleeping in are we? I have been up for almost 1 1/2 hours. I just haven't been here yet. Congrats on the 1 pound loss. I think my scales are finally settling in at 176, since I struggle for every ounce I lose that is a good thing.

    I am proud that I have stayed on plan, despite those stubborn scales. Well, except for that little vodka thing.

        Well, it's mainly been that I"M NOT HUNGRY, LOL! I don't feel deprived and that helps a ton, after 8 months on 'fat flush' that is a wonderful feeling.

          I'm proud that I've made it this long, and my only cheats were the occasional glass of wine or lc beer

          Down another .5 this morning! Gotta love those stomach viruses

          Kind of have a "planned" cheat this weekend....we are going away, but I'm not exactly sure what I'll do....I feel like Dh is pushing me to cheat

            Good Morning All, just checking in. I have not been doing to well lately, better get a grip on it before it slides through my fingertips. I also have been feeling really sick to my belly, not just nausea but a little pain here and there so maybe its telling me your slipping away and i dont like it. I went grocery shopping for veggies yesterday and im loaded up, got some fresh broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, bellpeppers, and spaghetti squash, summer squash and a bag of coleslaw that you make your own dressing, so im all set in that department. I dont know what it is about me, but i will be high strung for about 6wks and then i lose that momentum and then it will hit me again but usually after i mess up all that hard work. I still have been excercising so thats a plus, yesterday instead of going to the gym i ended up wanting to mow the grass, and boy that is a workout lol, i was pouring sweat that when i got done, i got in my kids little pool with them to cool off. Well today our plan is to go on a family walk, so i will get a few miles in, need to get that moving, im doing the may mile challenge, and i have about 40 more to get in. WEll i hope you all have a blessed day and i will check in later.

              Lisa..you do NOT have to cheat...What are you planning to cheat on? Now you know I have been in a zillion different situations over the last 7 weeks and if I can figure a way I am sure the rest of us can help you. You will feel so much better if you DON'T cheat.

                  GOOD MORNING LADIES...it is about time you all got up! I haven't even gone to bed yet...I still have 2 hrs left on my shift here at the wonderful hospital!

                    Thanks Sandy for the encouragement!!! I will get through this, im so determined to get it right. I think in my mind i was trying to negotiate with myself, telling myself well one meal is not going to hurt me, i cant think ill be perfect 100% of the time, but that thinking is what i call stinking thinkin and it will get you in trouble. That is what brought me to going off plan over the weekend, and then you think ill just jump back on but its harder than you think, so Lisa take my advice sweetie, its not as easy as you think, to just go off for the weekend and pick up where you left off, not sure if you went through any sugar withdrawls when you started but you will have to go through that again, and i think that is why i caved yesterday, but im determined to make it through today, so tomorrow i can be posting i got a grip on it again lol. Well let me go for real this time, got to do my baby's hair for she can go to school. Talk with you all later.

                      Nice post Sandy. Good morning STACer's. Yes, I slept in. I really wanted to stay in bed, it's like 55 outside, and it's beautiful sleeping weather! I had a wonderful meal last night for my birthday celebration, chicken wings, (my favorite.....I love those dang things.....Frank's hot sauce and butter....yum!) I was going to make a cheesecake, but decided against it in the last moment. I have a shiny new IPOD and docking station, courtesy of my wonderful wife and son, and some new movies from my other son. It was a nice warm evening at home, the kind that makes you all fuzzy inside. Didn't have cake, didn't miss it, didn't want it, wife and kids were all fine with no cake as well. I love this way of life. It's all good!

                      I'm proud that I didn't give in to temptation and have that birthday shot of Jack Daniels last night. I'm still on rung 3 and I've been so very careful, I didn't want to 'cheat' per say, I'm sticking to plan, and it's been good to me so far, so I'm being true to it.

                          Good morning, all. I've had a decent night's sleep and I am ready to start my day clean! I am off to the store today to stock up and make sure that I am all set. I woke up this morning and was very happy that I have not gained anything even though TOM is here. So, that gives me some motivation - plus my wonderful friends here giving me reassurance and some great ideas! I'll get through it!

                          Scooter - happy belated birthday! Mine's tomorrow. Going to have some of that chocolate mousse instead of the cake.

                            Scooter, did you read yesterday's check in post? I got an MP3 player too and we all wished you a happy birthday. Sounds like you had a very nice day yesterday.

                            Lisa, Situation Sandy has some good advice for you. I know you can make it through the weekend cheat-free. I know you can!

                            No news here today. I think I am most proud of the fact that I've kept up walking. It's not always convenient and sometimes it messes up dinnertime or the kids bedtime routine a little bit, but I'm still doing it.

                              Great job Scooter.. We have missed you the last couple of days.. Sounds like you had a nice birthday.. I want cheesecake so badly... But I know if I fix it right now I won't be able to just eat 1 slice... So its best that I don't even fix it at all
