    Good Morning STAC'Rs! I guess I am an the early bird today. I couldn't sleep

    I thought I would start the morning Roll Call off. I am going to have a busy day. My daughter and I are going to go attempt our first Water Aerboics class. ( I have done it before..just a different place) I am starting with the Arthritis class first. Because of my knee and foot issues and work my way up to the higher classes.

    Then we plan to go see SHREK 3...That comes out today.. I love shrek...lol

    Gotta hit lunch in there some where and then my daughter has to pre-bowl for Tuesday she has her first Formal to go to and will be missing bowling.

    Through all of this being busy. I have a food plan. I always plan my food for the whole day. It use to be so hard for me to go to Wendy's and get a Burger and a Salad...but now its nothing. I don't even miss French Fries.

    So make sure you PLAN PLAN PLAN your weekend and have a great LEGAL day!

    Hi Sandy - I'm here bright and early too. You sound like you have a fun day planned. How do you feel about your daughters first formal? Must be exciting for both of you! Oh the wardrobe planning!

    Working from home today and that makes me so happy! I can eat with ease, without having to pre-empt potential evil carbs in restaurant menus!

    Have got my new digital scales - its weighing me heavier than my existing scales - but i'm ignoring that.... not sure how i'll sort that one out. do i keep my weight on siggy the same till catches up with the new scales ... or do i keep minusing 3lbs off the new scale, so that it matches what i've done all along. or does it really matter? oh the questions!

      Yeah Sandy, having a plan before you leave the house is sooooo important for your success...I did that forever, and I was so strict with myself not wanting to in any way jepordize all the hard work.
      I also kept track of my cheat free days....I went well over 100 days with cheat free buttons that use to roam around here...it was such a motivator...We planned to climb Stone Mountain for day 100 cheat free and we did it...I think Feb 17th was day 200, then I got lost in my Mom's illness and I lost count...We have not had sugar here in this house since Aug1. No cheating in regards to illegal foods, but we have over eaten a few times....

        I am okay with the formal.. Her brother is going too...lol..He is 17 she is 14. My children are homeschooled and this was one of the things she was missing from being in Public School. We went shopping for the dress in February and found one for $22! It looks so good on her little body. I got my son a Suit, 2 shirts and 2 ties for $64! at a second hand S&K Store I LOVE bargains..lol Of course Tuesday she is scheduled for a Manicure and Pedicure and getting her hair done.. oh that should cost like $100.. My son.. he will shower and shave...lol Cost is $0...lol None of the kids are going with dates.. Everyone is going as friends.. So I think they will have a good time.. They are going to one friends house for dinner beforehand and then will get dressed there..

        Now about the scales.. I would just deal with what is on the new ones...You can mentally think you are 3lbs less.. I have always heard to weigh a bag of sugar on them..but who has sugar in the house now...lol One day my scales were acting crazy...but I weigh at the Y also and as long as theres are going down too I don't care which one is right..even though the Y weighs me about 4lbs more...

          Hi! Just have a minute. Going to the zoo today with the kindergarten! Bringing my lunch. Quick question for all of you....how much sleep do you get? I really think that lack of sleep contributes to obesity. I've read it a number of times, but no one irl seems to believe it except me. So I'm just curious. Have a great day everyone.

            Hi Sheepie - I try to get 8 hours a night but sometimes that doesn't happen. I've read that somewhere too.... definetly feel better when I've had more than 8 hours. I had 10 last night and the difference is amazing... Mind you the scales did show a loss this morning from yesterday! Maybe you've got something there!

              I'm here! Going to pick up hubby from the airport today, he's been gone 10 days on business, can't wait to see him!!!

              Things are going good so far...Still gotta figure out what's for dinner.

                I almost always get 8 hours.. Generally I head to my room about 9 and fall asleep reading or watching tv..and I am usually up at 5... Sometimes I make it to 10...and get up between 5 and 6.. Depending on if I wake up to go to the bathroom earlier.. If I go potty around 4 I almost always can fall back asleep until 6:30...

                  So many early birds!!! Excellent! Man, the ketoisis is fired up today!!! My energy is 12 fold. Yikes!! All that and only 1 small cup of coffee!! Sandy has made a great statement ya'll. Planning is the key to everything!

                  Living this way takes much planning! Especially since we're going into the summer time and people are a bit more active to say the least! So make sure you make those snacks, take that food!

                  Sandy, I'm making your broccoli salad this weekend. A couple twists here and there I think, but I love the way it sounds. I may even post a picture too!! Thank you.

                  Seems like STAC is the place to be these days!! Woo Hoo!! I mean not Woo Hoo that people are 'second time arounding' but Woo Hoo because we're here together!! OMG I'm rambling.......the burn the burn the burn....haha!!

                  Everybody have a great weekend!! 2 gigs this weekend, looking forward to them, gonna try out some new material, that's always fun!!!

                    Good Morning everyone, Happy Friday, sheepie have fun on that fieldtrip, i just went with my daughter to the zoo last week.
                    WEll i have calmed down some from yesterday and im ready to go and get my workout in and get my food planned, i feel as though i have missed two days of my life here with all this anxiety, that is the way it works with me, i get all caught in being anxious that the world around me is just moving right along. Well i hope you all have a blessed Friday and a blessed Weekend and i will check in with you all later.

                      Good morning, everyone. Actually made it to check-in in the morning today instead of the late night. My ds has a ear infection and so he had me up three or four times last night. So - nope - didn't get 8 hours! But I don't normally, anyway. Autistic children rarely sleep well and lately he hasn't been going to sleep until between 10 and 11. By the time I finish my nightly chores, it's almost midnight - then up at 6 or 6:30. I try to get my chores done before he goes to bed, but that doesn't usually work. I think lack of sleep does affect weight loss.

                      Still very busy at school. Today is the end of the first week of testing. We have testing all week next week, too. *sigh* Can't wait for it to be over! Then the last two weeks of school will be more relaxing!

                      Hope everyone has a good legal day. (And that's more for me than anyone else. I need a mantra!) This WOL is great, but I still need to address the whole emotional eating problem or it will always be there.

                        Good morning all!! I don't have my food planned yet for the day, I need to play around on FitDay with my fat percentages, they are WAY too high.

                        I DEFINITELY believe lack of sleep contributes to being overweight. I've read it numerous different places too. After my third daughter was born, I tried about 3 times to do Atkins again after she was born and never ever could succeed. My main stumbling block? The lack of sleep. Not only does lack of sleep not give your body time to rejuvenate itself, being overtired the next day gives you no willpower or desire to eat right and exercise. You are tired, crabby, and weak and crave carbs like a heroin addict craves a fix!

                        So get those zzzzz's - getting enough rest is tops on my priority list and I can totally tell a difference in my determination now vs then!

                            I just have work today... oh joy xD;
                            i feel kind of late.. it's almost 8 here and everyone else posted so early @_@
                            When I was 18 I started out at 250+ pounds and embarked on the atkins diet..
                            I'm back at 250 and am ready to go again and KEEP it off this time.

                              Seems like theres a bunch of early birds this morning. I should get into the get up early habit, just hard to fall asleep early. Daughter says she is moving out this weekend so it should be quiet here in the evenings after that, may help my sleeping. Will certainly help my electric/water bills and the place will stay cleaner (thinking positive thoughts) its hard to let them go. She won't be far so will see her often. going to be a GREAT day today. Hi Ho Hi Ho its off to work I go.
