    Good Morning Everyone,

    I wanted to start the Roll Call off this morning with something cheerful.. But I am not in a cheerful mood.

    I should be...my car is home from the shop and now I don't have to juggle rides or borrowing cars. That is such a pain.

    But my scale moved down to 270 early in the week and its stuck back at 272...and I want those 260's!

    I survived my water aerobics class yesterday although it was exhausting but a good kind of exhausting.

    Off to an amusement park today...But I am not worried about what to eat. I have done this before. They have a really nice Salad with Turkey. There is also Turkey Legs, and in the Germany section...there is 3 different kinds of link sausages with Sauerkraut and Red Cabbage...

    I think I will fix me some of those Cheese Crackers and have in my bag if I need them.. I fixed some yesterday and my daughter ate them all up...lol

    If I make sure I eat good at lunch time I can resist the smells of all the desserts and the waffle cones..

    Hi Sandy. I'm in much the same humour as you! Don't worry about the scale. I know its TOM time for you, as me, so fluctuations on the scale are perhaps one of the few things we can guarantee right now! Mine said I was up 4lbs this morning, so I'll keep fingers crossed that on my official weigh day on Monday, they will at least go back to where I was! If you are feeling really down about it - have a quick check of your measurements - you may get a surprise!

    I'm at home today - going to go do some shopping - not for myself - birthday presents plus baby present for a friend who just had a little boy.

    My Mum is visiting tonight - she is going on a cruise tomorrow - lucky her! - and staying with me before she departs. So I'll be cooking tonight. But I reckon I can very easily do an atkins friendly dessert and she won't even notice!

      Good Morning All!

      Well, Sandy. I have a cheerful thought. Since you did H2O Aerobics yesterday, could it be that you are developing muscle and muscle weighs more. So, maybe you will have to start relying more on inches and clothes. Just a happy thought for you. (smiles).

      Hey perfect, enjoy Mum. Let us know what kind of dessert you fix.

      Tonight is my toga party and y'all should see the decorations. Columns, olive branches, lights.

      My "Athena" costume looks pretty good. I had to go to "JoAnn's" to get some sew in bra cups to keep the "girls" in line. woo hoo.

      Anyway, Induction starts Monday. I'm down to 3 diet cokes and the more water I drink the less I want DC.

        Hi Buffy - would love to see those pictures! Your party sounds like so much fun.

        I'm making Dom's cheesecake for tonight. But I'm going to put it in pretty teacups and saucers that I have. And I'll put a digestive biscuit on the side of the saucer for my Mums dessert. Mine I'll have without - thus a legal dessert!

        Recipe is so easy to make.....
        8oz cream cheese, 8oz sour cream, 8oz whipped cream, 1/4 cup splenda, 1tsp vanilla extract, 1 tsp lemon flavouring.
        Mix the cream cheese, sour cream, splenda and flavouring together. Then fold in the whipped cream.
        If you are on the berries rung on OWL, you can decorate with strawberries, or berries of your choice. This is delicious - and I find a great way to get my calories up. Sometimes I don't eat enough!

            Good Morning Everyone!!

            Sandy, im sure your gaining is due to the excercise, especially if your muscles are sore this morning, but give it a few days and it will be right back down. You are doing so good, im proud of you. Enjoy that day at the amusement park, sounds like you have it all planned out.
            Well this morning i woke up with a congested feeling, from sleeping with the windows open, i already know the culprit. Ok i have done good without coffee, but this morning im wanting it so bad, i guess because it is the weekend and this is when i lounge in front of my computer for about 2hrs and i like that cup of coffee, and im trying to reason with myself, saying maybe have coffee on the weekend and not during the week, but i know thats not going to kick that habit. Coffee does not stall me, but i just wanted to see if i didnt drink it, would it help my stomach with the cyst i have, because sometimes that cyst hurts so bad and i know caffeine will irritate it, oh what is a girl to do, im just going to fight this urge and get through this day. Well food wise i have been doing good, and i think im going to try and go hiking today, something i have not done in a couple of weeks but i love it, maybe aim for 6miles, whew that one is a good trail, works those leg muscles lol. Well you all have a blessed Saturday and i will check in later.

              Morning all. Im not in such a great mood either Im afraid. I havent lost a single pound in almost two weeks. Its starting to aggrivate me to no end. I know I shouldnt weigh myself so much, but I cant help it. Im an instant gratification girl, so this is really driving me nuts. I havent cheated at all, and Ive walked 10 miles in the past week. I dont know. Im sure Ill drop a few eventually, but ONEDERLAND is so CLOSE. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!

                ((Lisa)) I don't know what to tell you about the coffee... I haven't given mine up either..and I always sit in front of the computer with a cup...

                (((Mrs.Davis))) I know how you feel.. I just want to get below that next level too and I Know it will make me happy.. Its just hard when you have been sitting there and sitting there.. I can't imagine what I will feel when I am that close to Onderland...

                  Hey ladies! It sounds like you're all doing a FABULOUS job! Stay strong and keep your eye on the prize. Those of you who have done recent exercise and are "up" in weight, I can almost guarantee it's either muscle, or water retention from muscles, or possibly TOM. Remember, if you "gained" 3 pounds, unless you actually ate an extra 10,000 calories, it's NOT FAT!!!

                  So I'm one of the group who is up a pound this week, but I lost 4.5 inches so it's obviously muscle-related weight! Losing inches makes me even happier than weight loss because I don't walk around with a big red "187 pounds" written on my forehead, but I *DO* get to wear cute and sexy new clothes and everybody says "Girrrrrrrrrrl you are lookin' good!" So yes, I'll take those inches lost, please...

                  I'm off to the gym in a bit, and then in the afternoon I'm heading to school to get some work done in my room, and THEN I'm performing with the HS vocal group. We're singing at Graduation today. Wish me luck! I haven't had to sing in front of an audience in a while.

                    Hi Julie - thanks for keeping it real! You're right, (as always!!! ) its how we look in our clothes that matters! When I was a skinny 160 lbs - flat tummy, size 8 -10, nobody could believe I weighed that much. They thought I was a lot less. I know that for me, its how I look rather than how much I weigh at the end of this. However, those stupid evil scales have a really strong hold over us all don't they? No matter how much we all know there are reasons for the stall, or weight gain, the illogical part of our brains goes nuts! I blame the hormones

                    One thing I'm happy about - I'm in good company with you lot. At least we're all in it together!

                        I agree with the other posters...the weight gain has to be muscle. So, don't be discouraged. I do know the all powerful hold that mighty scale has over some of us...me included, but in the long run for me, its how I look and feel in my clothes that really matters. I too am one who looks lighter than I actually am.

                        I actually started Atkins second time around on May 1, although I only found this board and joined recently...so Tuesday will be my 3 week weigh in, wish me luck.

                        I have been being very good so hopefully it is reflected. I know seeing a loss does have great motivation for us all.

                        I have tried a few of the induction friendly recipes and it really helps with variety...so thanks to all for posting those.

                        Ok, well everyone have a great day and think positive...we CAN do this!

                          Hey, all! It's a beautiful day here in VA. Looking forward to getting outside! My ds has had an ear infection, but he's feeling better today, so hoping to get out a little. I got up, had a legal breakfast, then did 45 minutes of Turbo Jam. It's the first time I've done the longer version of Cardio Party. I actually made it through without stopping! I couldn't quite do the moves the way they do them, but I was moving and sweating so I KNOW I had to be burning fat and calories! Woohoo! I needed that. There's lots of standing ab work and I can feel that, too. So I know it's working! I feel good, so I'm hoping to see some inches coming off in the next week or so.

                          Sandy - I tried that flaxseed pizza crust and I really like it. My mil tried it, too, and even she said she liked it. She said we should freeze some and keep them on hand. I forgot to pick up pizza sauce. I was going to use spaghetti sauce, but the kind we had had sugar, so I used olive oil instead. Mil and I split one - they're not very big - about the size of a personal pan at Pizza Hut. But we ate it with cole slaw (legal!) and it was filling - all that fiber, I guess. But I will definitely be making more.

                          I also ordered some of those shiritake noodles Julirama had talked about. Don't know if anybody else has tried them, but I'll let you all know about them, as well.

                          Lisa - hang in there, girl. I'm thinking about you.

                          Perfect - Have fun with your mom - that sounds like a great dessert!

                          Buffy - We definitely want to see pics of the Athena costume!

                          Mrs. Davis - You will get there! I know you will and you will be so happy when you do!!!

                            I'm here! Just finished my exercise whew! Weigh in tomorrow, not excited about it. I feel puffy this week, probably due to the restart of exercise so I may skip it if I'm still feeling the bloat tomorrow. I need to get back on the water wagon, I've been terrible about drinking enough of that.

                            Where is this flaxseed pizza crust recipe? Sounds good!!

                              Thanks everyone. I know Ill get there and Im not going to give up. I just browsed through some old posts about Post Induction Stall Syndrome and they were very helpful. I just need the reassurance every once in awhile.
