    Aaah...I see...I stick to Saturday weigh ins as "official" . But, hey! I could be less by next Tuesday for ya!

    Thanks for the encouragement! Oh, I am focused...that's for sure. I'm just hoping to not pay the price of overeating the fruit...rummbling tummy wise. So far so good this morning...but I'll be good and go without my berries for a few days

      Morning all.... or afternoon to some of us. Nursing a bad headache today. Self inflicted so no sympathy necessary! Had a few drinks last night - first time in about 4 weeks...... My goodness, I'm out of condition for this drinking lark! Had good fun though. And it was for medicinal purposes.... my friend has split up with her husband and it was her wedding anniversary. Dinner and wine was called for. Happy to report that I stayed on track food wise too. Even though I know alcohol isn't great for this woe, sometimes life just gets in the way. Most important for me is that I didn't cheat food wise or even think about it for that matter.

      My punishment today is to do an extra workout.... I'm glugging that water to try and re-hydrate!

        Good morning...Well....it's SNOWING! Oh yah...not just a few flakes, mind you...it's full on big fat ones coming down and staying! Anyone from Florida want to post me a sunny day pic that would cheer me up???

        Terry, your morning greeting was exactly what I needed to read first thing..thank you for reminding me that this is a good thing we're all doing here. This is such a healthy way of living and it tastes good, and feels good and there are a ton of things to be thankful for every day we wake up to take another breath. Wow...didn't know I had that in me today! ha ha...

        Question for those of you with journals here....do you find journaling on here is helping you?

        Gotta run to work. Hope you all have a great day!

          Hi MG. Journaling for me is a large part of my success I think. I find it cathargic to write down what I'm up to, and I read back on certain posts to remind me how good I felt at certain times. I want to remember why I'm doing this and how important it is that I stick to it.

            Wow! I can't believe it! Stay warm. Drink a nice herbal tea. I don't journal, well, the check-in post is my little journal, and I don't read them either. Maybe I'll go check them out.

                  Hi Everyone!

                  I love to read everyone's posts. It so helps me remember and stay on the straight and narrow!

                  For those of you who don't know, I dropped a bed frame on my toe Tuesday and I had to go to the ER yesterday. So, today it is elevated, they drained the blood behind the nail. I don't think it is fractured, but, I have to go into the ER to get my results. They won't give it to me over the phone due to HIPPA.

                  OH well. I'm enjoying my convalescing.

                  While I'm on the couch I'm going to drink, drink my water!!! And, look up some new recipes.

                    oh dear, Buffy - get well soon, am glad to hear that you're so positive!

                    Well, am currently on day 4 (cheat-free) and I'm in ketosis! I did notice that I felt very in control and not too hungry when I got home from work last night - which made a nice change! (also, I had the most delicious Thai Green Chicken curry for dinner which filled me up and even saw me past the snack counter at the cinema.)
                    I had a sneaky measure as well today (as I'm furiously ignoring the scales - I don't feel very different weight-wise just yet) and have dropped 13" overall!!!! What a buzz!!
                    (sorry if it's a bit 'all about me'-ish but I'm excited!)

                      Just checkin' in because I haven't in a while. I am volunteering at a Golf Tournament to raise money for my daughters school today. CRUISE TOMORROW!! Almost made my goal for the cruise...close enough for me considering 4 months ago I was miserable about my body. All your support helped me get here THANK YOU!

When I checked the ingredients on it just now, I saw it included Potato Starch And Powdered Cellulose Added To Prevent Caking. Why didn't I read the label before? I am usually very good about that. I will from now on on everything, believe me!

                              Yep..I just started last week...Had to go through training on them.. I have only done them once this week.. Aiming for 2 days a week right now with 2 to 3 Cardio...

                                If you are losing slow...check EVERY SINGLE THING you put in your mouth. Even trace amounts can add up and cause problems. Every thing you DRINK, every supplement you swallow, Everything you eat! If you are eating out somewhere...ASK what's in the ingredients in both foods AND beverages. Don't take it for granted that the steak isn't injected with sugar water, or that the cheese sauce doesn't contain flour or starch, or that the UNSWEET TEA doesn't really have HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP!!!!!!!
