    SNOW?? Oh my gosh its suppose to be 90 here tomorrow! I have a journal but I just use it to post my thoughts.. I wouldn't say it really helps me or maybe it does

      Morning Glory....where are you from in Canada. I am in Canada too, in Saskatchewan and we had snow flurries here yesterday too....unreal! My fiance is from Florida, he is there now and me here...boo!

      Good morning everyone. Sounds like everyone is on track yet again, apart from the car problems.

      I too am finding this WOE second nature. I haven't been hungry and the sweet tooth has lessened if not disappeared most days. This is so great. I'm finding it easier the second time around mainly because I have tried so many of the great recipes on this site and Lindas. They have been a savior for me. I have problems when I get bored of foods, but no chance of that anymore.

      My daughter works at a restaurant and brought some fries home last night. Boy they looked good and smelled even better. Fries were always my weakness, well that and chocolate. But, I was good and instead had an Atkins Revolution Roll with cream cheese and a cup of decaf. It was yummy and I was satisfied.

            I'm in BC, (but not near the coast). I talked to my sister in Regina last night and she said same as you...flurries yesterday. I'm at quite a high elevation (4300 ft) so that probably doesn't help either. Oh well...that's life in Canada isn't it? I can put up with the weather because all the good stuff about being Canadian outweighs it.

            BUT...I would LOVE a vacation in Florida!!!

              Bad news last night...my BF's father had a heart attack. He is in hospital being operated on today. He is a skinny guy, but with high blood pressure and I guess it caught up to him. Anyways, trying to be supportive and convince my BF that through diet and exercise he can prevent coronary disease. His mother just had a pacemaker installed 3 weeks ago so he is worried about his heart now...Have a good no-cheat day everyone!

                You must have gotten our weather, Canadians! Here in MT it snowed in the mountains on Tuesday. BRRRRRRR!

                Hey STACers! Glad to see so many are checking in and on-track! Sorry about the car troubles. I hope my jeep isn't jinxed because I read this thread!

                Today I have lots of great foods packed for lunch, probably too many, but I'd rather have too much than go without! For my older students, today is a "party" day, meaning I brought cookies and chips and yogurt raisins and stuff. So I'm avoiding that stuff like the plague. I will admit, it DID smell good this morning, but I didn't want to eat it--I KNOW BETTER! Once I ate my breakfast I was fine, and the cookies stopped looking like food.

                Today after work I'm heading to the gym to do some killer cardio on the bike, as well as ab work and possibly lunges and pushups.

                  Been busy at work and haven't had time to check in. I went to the grocery store so I have fresh veggies now, did my exercise last night and have been drinking plenty of water.
                  Terry, I'm glad you're back on the board. Hope you start feeling better. Take care of yourself and get well!

                  I'm glad it's not snowing in Texas, even though it has been known to snow in May before.

                      Hey, all. Had a MUCH better day today than the last two days. I still had testing to complete, and it was exhausting, but I'm not as stressed as I was. I thank all of you so much for your nice comments and motivation. It's been a rough week. I shouldn't complain - some people have had a much harder week than me. (Terry and guekjain - hang in there!)

                      So far, stayed with the program even though I have been CRAVING lots. It's all emotion, so trying to use exercise instead. Haven't been able to do Turbo Jam, but I've been taking a couple of 10 minute walks a day at work and home as well as keeping up with my crunches (100/day). That has helped. I admit I did have a diet coke, but that's it.

                      10.5 days of school left. Looking forward to it! I will miss my students, but I am happy to clean out my room. This year I have a trailer - oops - learning cottage (it's a trailer) and only a half one, at that. It's tiny and I have 10 students with multiple disabilities - 3 in wheelchairs. Next year, not only am I moving into the building, but I am getting the biggest room in the school and it has it's own bathroom! WOOOHOOOO! So, this year, I am looking forward to packing up my stuff!!
