    oooh - I'm kicking things off again!

    Having another beautiful sunny day here, so am immediately in a better mood!

    Went walking around the shops yesterday for an hour , and then when we got home, stripped wallpaper for an hour and then went mountain biking for an hour and a half. Unfortunately, I timed everything a bit wrong (thought it was earlier than it was) and ended up going a really long time without eating, so when I got back from my bike ride, I felt all shakey - had a bit of cheddar and then my lamb curry and felt sick to my stomach for 3 hours afterwards! Whoops!

    Did feel a bit lighter this morning though (am trying not to measure or weigh though) - hopefully will be able to get another bike ride in this afternoon, if all the chores are done: we are half-moving into a friends house this afternoon, so I'd better go!)

    12 days cheat free! only two more days of induction, and a weigh-in on monday...am hoping to reach my first mini-goal

    Good Morning Everyone.. Happy Friday.. Today is measurement day and I am down 8 inches this month... for a total of 17 1/2 over all (measured 2 weeks after I started though) What is funny is that I look at Measurements from this time last year where I was the same weight and my inches are lower this time.. I am losing the inches in the Hips, Legs and Stomach the most.. I still want to lose them up top but I guess that will catch up...lol

    Busy Busy Busy day here... I am heading out to the Y this morning...my class is at 9.. Then go workout in the weight room..doesn't take me long in there cause I am only set up on 6 machines right now. Then Brittany and I are going to leave there and get some lunch. Then we are going to attempt to hit the DMV (long lines) I want to get Brittany a Picture ID. This afternoon we are starting our little summer job. We are working from 3-8. We might be spending the night over there and working 9-12:45 tomorrow and then racing from there to Dance Competition Tryouts about an hour away. I am so tired already reading this.. I am so tempted to not go to the Y this morning but I need my second day in for this week.

    So if you don't hear from me in the morning I haven't died...lol

      Morning all - carbaholic good luck on monday for your weigh in - i predict the scales will behave - you've done really well on induction

      Sandy - well done on the inches loss.....

      For me, its our bank holiday weekend and I'm off to visit family till monday evening, so I know I won't be around for a few days. Looking forward to it and will try and get some walks in - and stay legal.

        Morning all

        I've had a rough week...My IVF cycle was canceled after 7 days of meds due to a lead follicle...I am so depressed. It took all I had not to stuff my face with comfort food last night, but I made it through...

        Hopefully I can make it through the next couple of days...

          Morining all.

          Sounds like everyone has a busy weekend planned.

          Keep your chin up Lisa. What is meant to be will be. Don't reach for the food, journal about your experience so that you aren't stuffing the feelings. I know it is hard, especially with the disappointment that you have had. I feel for you.

          Starting Marathon school tomorrow, just got in my run for this morning. DD loves it again. (Dear Dog).

            Oh Lisa, I'm so sorry about the ivf. I know how heartbreaking that is.

            Carbaholic, I still wonder where you are and what tips you have for me for my trip to England! I love curry!

            Perfect, a long weekend! I love those. Are you in England too?

            I read Sandy and Buffy's posts. Does that count as exercise? LOL! I'm exhausted just reading them!

            I've been terrible about planning this week. Never did make it to the grocery store. Bought my lunch too many times. Skipped dinner last night because I couldn't think of anything to eat. Bad, bad, bad. Dh cheated with some sweet potato fries, but has been pretty good. He suggested we pack a lunch for the zoo tomorrow.

              Well I'm experiencing my 1st TOM since restarting atkins and it SUCKS!!!! If I can get through the next couple of days without cheating or stabbing someone, I'll be so proud of myself. My tummy hurts more than normal..is this just how it is because of the diet?

              Other than that, i'm so glad the weekend is here. I think I'll take mey son to the strawberry patch to pick some berries..maybe go to a movie. Hope yall have a great weekend!

                  Hi...I'm so sorry to read this. I can only imagine how difficult that must have been for you to have your cycle cancelled. Food is only a temporary comfort, it'll bite you in the a** in the end. I wish I had the words to say that would make you feel better~~treat yourself well though. Give your body some good nourishment and rest.

                    Sandy, what a good mom you are!! I am also exhausted just hearing about your schedule!

                    Perfect, I picked up a Mike Denver CD when I was in Ireland last week and I have been listening to it nonstop...Galway Girl is potentially my new favorite song!

                    Buffy, I am intrigued by this 'marathon' school. Is is a group training program for a specific marathon? Fill me in....I am running my second half marathon in September and would like to run a whole in January. There are several groups that train together out here but I have never thought to join. Let me know how it goes!

                    Sheepie, the zoo sounds like so much fun, especially wth a little Atkins picnic lunch!! That is funny, last time I went to the zoo I was on Induction and I remember walking around to see all the animals with my little nephew snacking on pepperoni and string cheese!!

                    Ms Michelle, hang in there with TOM. Don't be discouraged if you are bloated/constipated and feel yukky...this too shall pass!!

                      Good Morning! Sounds like everyone is going to be busy. I'm hoping to NOT be busy--I'm tired! I want to play with a new toy I ordered--a Sony DVD burner--stand alone. You can attach your camcorder to it or the VCR/DVD player. I need to get all of my 8mm tapes to DVD. It's supposed to come today--I can't wait! I'm on Day 22 of my induction (I've said it will last for 100 lbs.) and totally cheat free (unless you count an accident of peanuts that I thought were legal). Good luck to everyone!                         Good Morning to Everyone

                        This is my first roll call and my second day on induction. I am hoping for great things this time around.

                        First of all I would like to say how sorry I am Lisa about the IVF, please hang in there. Your time will come!

                        Thank you for all the positive words of encouragement. It is nice to know the support system is here and when someone is feeling down or weak there are people here to help get you through things because let's face it some days can be rough.

                          Hey all!

                          It's STILL cloudy and yucky here in MT. It's been rainy for a week, which doesn't help my mood. I want it to be SUNNY because I'm on VACATION!

                          Today was weigh-in/measuring day. I'm down another pound, and lost approximately 4 inches this week. So far I've lost 10 pounds towards my 4th of July challenge goal, and I'm only 4 pounds away from my next minigoal, and 5 pounds away from my 4th of July goal. And today is the start of TOM! So I'm very pleased.

                          In a bit I'm planning on going to the gym to do leg strength training, and I might come home and do pilates abs. Later, I'm going to convince my boyfriend to do yoga with me.

                            Michelle girl, I HEAR YA!! Mine is supposed to start Sunday and I've been ravenous since yesterday and I'm soooooo bloated it's really unbelievable. Cranky as all get out too. GRRRR!

                            Yay for those with losses! I've stayed off the scales this week due to TOM approaching and the bloat I'm dealing with. I started dry brushing today and man that felt good! I also bought Palmer's cocoa butter to use on my crazy stretchmarks. WOW that stuff smells yummy!

                              good morrning from washington! day 5 is going well, had a few cravings this morning but do NOT want to start all over with this process again. just 9 more days to go!! yea! I have not weighed yet but don't "feel" lighter lol. hmmm.. i guess we shall see on monday. as long as i make it through tommorrow not eating all of the junk that i have to sell on my weekend duty. that was my pitfall last weekend. anyways, other than that, been exercising all week and doing good so wish me luck! and sounds like you all are doing great too! keep it up! and way to go carbaholic!!! good luck on your 14 day weigh in!
