    Well, I hate to see people lose their jobs...but the way I see it...this one was well deserved if she was let go because of the way she treated you and your family. My only hope is that the woman finds peace and understanding in why she lost her job.

    Good for you sticking to your guns and standing up for yourself!

      Wow! I'll bet she thinks twice before she opens her big fat mouth like that again!
      That is a very good lesson not only for her but also for everyone in the store! She got what she deserved! Hope you feel a sense of closure now...

              well cheri this is good news. i had wondered what ever happened. i too am VERY sensitive to kids with special needs....maybe since i am a teacher. maybe cuz i am a mom or maybe just because i am HUMAN. ernie's youngest was disabled. she was a beautiful and precious angel sent to him from heaven to teach everyone she came in contact with about PURE LOVE. he has stories about people's reactions to her that just break my heart. maybe people are just afraid of what they do not understand but there is never any excuse for cruelty.

              mama always said to me "there but for the grace of god go i."

              in the end, goodness rules.
