    Hey all! Well after a carbed up weekend (due equally to stress throughout the week and boredome at work where i couldn't get away) I plunged into the two day off the wall carb binge. And Today i realized why i will never eat that crap again!!! i feel HORRIBLE!!! I guess i never realized how carbs and sugars affect a person mentally and physically until going on atkins. BLAH!!! I have to start training for the Naval Academy today so I am going to be forced back into exercising...although seeing as today i am all bloated and fat feeling today i am going to HATE running...lol. I had lost 10 pounds in induction and probably gained about 5 back from the binge...oh well...i best pick myself up from this self pity party and get back on track!!! I hope all of you guys have a WONDERFUL day..if you messed up a little with the beverages which i see some of you indulged in...drink lots of water and get right back on the wagon!!!!

      Good morning.... Outback Jess, I love your attitude girl, yes it really is a lifestyle isn't it. I've been doing this woe for nearly three years and yes, I may stumble or fall, but I always manage to get back on track because it is a lifestyle. Mornin SandyL, Good for you, such will power. Hey have you ever thought about getting a pedometer? You're so busy, I bet you get in more miles than you think.Mornin Scooter, water,water,water, over a gallon a day for me. It's so important!. Mornin lovmybabies,that a girl, get back up on that horse and ride like the wind. I try not to eat out anymore because you really can't tell what they've added to the food. I was a chef for many years,retired now, but I can remember cooking breakfasts and putting pancake batter in the eggs, just a smidge, but enough to give it a little more substance for the omelets. Now wouln't that be a no no for us now. So it's always good to ask when you go out or let them know that you can't eat sugar, flour,corn starch, msg(beet juice,pure sugar!) Just in case.Mornin Sheepie, I was the same way with nuts, love the crunch, when it was convenient, I would package them in snack bags for our portion size and put them back in the can so I wouldn't go over my serving size. It really helps. Mornin Speedyturtle, looks like your headed out the door with a plan, taking your cream with you, good idea. I'm feelin pretty safe in induction too. Even though I had a successfull loss of 10.5 pounds and 11.25 inches these last couple weeks, I'm happy in this phase. I still have 64 pounds untill goal. Well today, I'm gonna hang out in the pool with my twelve year old daughter, just love her,and stay focused on my intake of food and water. It's a beautifl day here in Oregon. I don't want to forget to say good morning to Buffy and Cheri ,you've both been inspirations to me too. Mornin Sweet Strudel, I don't drink either. Been there done that. In fact, at one time I was quite the party Queen. Since I've been married for seventeen years and have a beautiful daughter, I find it more important to focus on them and my health. There's no room for alcohol in that equation. Good morning partytrouble, good planning on taking your lunch to work today, smart move! Mornin Mrs. D It's a great feeling to see the scale move in the right direction isn't it. Good for you, keep up the good work, you'll be at goal in no time!         Hi all ~ It's Monday. Woo hoo. (yawn) I was a little naughty this weekend too. But today is a new day and the start of a new week so clean slate and moving on... Happy week, everyone!

          Saw family on Father's day and got lots of compliments. That should help boost the ego a little.

              Good Morning everyone! Just got off the bike this morning and did my sit ups...
              Looking forward to making the fake potaoes with the califlower this morning... I made it on Friday and it was delish!!! Don't have to be at work til 2 today so get an extra hour. Got up earlier today and sat and read a mag. It felt nice. But time's a wasting... gotta make my dinner, fold the laundry, eat breakfast, etc.... So much to do! Looking forward to day off tomorrow.
