      obkbbby--I'd love for you to join the Labor Day Challenge if you'd like. You DON'T have to take bikini pics if you don't want, just as long as you take a pic (you don't even have to post it!) so you have something for comparison at the end of the challenge.

      Terry--I can pull a couple of the straps through a wedding ring...now is this a man's wedding ring or a woman's? If it's a man's ring, just why is he pulling some girl's bikini through it anyway? I bet that makes his wife happy.

        That sounds really good, Cheri. The day before I signed up for Julie's challenge, I had made up my mind to take a month off of challenges and do my own personal challenge by commiting to post daily in Journal Stats each day on my progress. But, the group of people that are in the Labor Day Challenge and the remarkable support floating around there lured me in. I am SO glad that I hopped on board, too. I feel stonger already!

        Terry's right, you would have a blast there. And, as Julie said, you don't have to post revealing pics or a pic at all if you don't want to. I didn't want to at first, but I bit the bullet and dove in and am feeling the love over there.

        You do whatever makes you comfortable... I know you'll do great on your own and can respect that. If you decide to join us, however, I think you will enjoy it.

        Either way, keep us posted on your progress. And I hope summer school goes well for you... you are a very special person.

          Morning Everyone!
          Sounds like I need to get myself some potasium... I have leg cramps almost everyday... I use light salt which is potasuim but apparently not enough...
          hubby and I are going to his gym today... I don't have a membership but his membership allows me to go as guest as much as I want... haven't wanted to go around other people, but need a little variety... so why not? It's too hot to exersize outside now. Everyone sounds so motivated and exited! It's contagious! Thanks! Have a great day!

              Hey guys, I started my own little push up challenge and want to invite you all to join me... I noticed on my measurements I didn't lose anything in my arms or bust so... that's why I'm doing it... and apparently unless I have some kind of accountablity I'm not gonna do it so.... it will make me! There are a few of us... so come on in!

                  Having a good day here (well, except for one accident, spilling liquid and making a rip-roaring mess). Got chicken and beef jerky marinating in their sauces, and hamburger sausage doing its 24 hours before it gets cooked tomorrow... Next is Dom's cheesecake... yum!

                        Hey All,

                        I'm here too. Unfortunately I didn't have a stellar day eating wise. I feel a slip coming on and am trying to figure out exactly why. At least I can tell that I am not doing something right or there is something that is keeping me from staying on track. I need to find out what it is but I am at least detecting a problem. My exercise is not what it should be and I need to back off coffee again. I was going to re-read Atkins but blew it off ...not a good sign. I think part of my problem was that I didn't have atkins friendly food in the fridge when I returned and I had very limited choices. I went to the store yesterday and stocked up on fresh veggies and made alot of salads so the food is ready to go. I hope that will help. I did so well on vacation and need to remind myself not to ruin it.

                        I am thinking that I will need a couple days of induction starting TODAY. No scale until Monday (don't need the damage to discourage me) and I need to get my mind straight again. Wow, this is still work.

                          DO IT! There's quite a few of us restarting induction and today is Day One! I'm also going to ask people about rereading through the book, one chapter a week and see if we should start that soon... Oooh, I just got an idea...

                              Ok yall, Im having like the worst couple months ever! My aunt just passed away which was hard enough, but then I got a phone call that my dad (who is in lousianna for work) got electrocuted on the job. Hes an electrician. Soooo....my sister and I had to catch the first flight out there and hes in pretty bad shape. I mean, hes gonna be ok, but he needed skin grafts and and all kinds of other stuff. I finally had to come home after a week because we ran out of money, and my poor dad has to stay there for a bit longer. I hated leaving him behind. I got back a few days ago, but Ive been crazy busy trying to catch up on everything that was neglected while I was gone. Apparently my DH isnt capable of doing ANYTHING on his own. Hmm. Who knew?! So Im back again. I did really well while I was gone, and Im really proud of myself. It actually kinda helped me to take my mind off of things trying to find legal foods to eat while I was down there. Maybe Im weird. I dont know. But I missed you all and Im glad to be back yet again. Hopefully the family crisis period is over for the time being so I can relax. My fingers are crossed!
