    Good Morning Everyone... I saw Buffy was online..so I was waiting cause I knew she would start the thread...lol

    Its Monday..and I have a day off of everything..well that is until about 6:30...daughter starts Summer Dance classes tonight.. But I will be home for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.. So today is the day to focus back on me.. I am up 5lbs...At 268.. I won't change my ticker though..cause I will be back at the 263.... Oh Tom is here...so while I am feeling miserable.. I might as well feel miserable getting the carbs out of my body..

    I tell you what...If just eating low carb keeps me from having IBS attacks..it will be so worth it.. I have had a miserable week in that department...

    So today while I am cleaning...and doing laundry I am going to figure out some new foods for me to eat..

      Goodmorning STACers, Buffy girlfriend, you look great! All you tall girls just thin out so beautifully, I am so short....(I can't run with tall people either, their strides are too long for me)...
      I feel like I ate alot of food this weekend, celebraing my daughter's 16th birthday with alot of eating out and or parties...nothing illegal, but too much....
      I am excited tho, because this week I am going to exercise alot more, because there is no race in the middle of the week to taper for....There is something very motivating about working hard and moving towards something, and it's just sooo good for my attitude... My attitude is everything, and I work hard to water it, and feed it, and keep it safe...I read in a John Maxwell book, "Talent is given, success must be earned"...
      I hope all of you plot and plan out your success for the day, it's not a given, it is something you have to get up and make happen!
      Sandy- glad you will be able to slow down and eat at home, rest and plan out some new meals! How exciting.

          Morning, Appreciate the motivation to get exercising today. I would never be a runner, but I can be an exerciser. (too much allergy trouble to be running outside) going to work on firming up what I have and stop worrying about losing anymore weight, either it will come off or it won't, I feel pretty good. Could use a little more energy, I think exercise will take care of that. Staying healthy is what this is all about.

            Morning Everyone! Im feeling especially good this Monday morning. I took the day off of work cause it's my birthday and I wanted to, so Im gonna go shopping for new clothes! YAY! Im finally back down to a comfortable size 14! YAY YAY YAY! I think this is the best birthday present ever. I feel great and Im so proud of myself!

            I hope you all have a fantastic day!

                Good morning, STACers!

                Just a note that we're going to start rereading and discussing DANDR this week over in the Move It! Challenge. [Edit: MY BAD! I meant Work It Challenge!! ]Chapters 1, 2, and 3, about 38 (?) pages worth. I would think it'd be ok to join in on the discussion even if you're not in the challenge itself.

                Sandy - Atta Girl! The more you find to make and choose from, the easier this whole thing gets. Also, strive for foods that you can easily store, pack up and take with you in a moment's notice. Easy at home, it's when you leave the house that it gets really tricky!

                Speedyturtle - I worked out harder than I have in quite some time Saturday night. I was even drenched in sweat! (ack!) Boy, did that make things happen! So I'll be doing that again today or tonight! Never say never about running - I did once but hey, you never know! LOL!

                Mrs. Davis - Happy belated Birthday! And congrats on size 14!

                I'm going to push myself as much as possible this week with exercising. I expect that one day I'll work out hard, the next day be down for the count because I'm still recovering from surgery and adjusting to a new medicine. Hopefully, the medicine will get increased a lot next week and I'll be more my old self SOONER than later!

                    Sandy....I can so relate to you in the IBS department. I suffered with IBS for over 22 years now (some of you will get tired of hearing this if you have read some of my posts or journals...sorry)

                    Anyway, its no life as you know. I never in my wildest dreams thought going on Atkins to lose some extra weight would "cure" my IBS symptoms...but it did and it does for you too apparently.

                    So everything changed for me...now I eat low carb because it stops my IBS and the weight loss is a bonus...a great bonus but a bonus nonetheless.

                    If having none of those horrible symptoms of IBS isn't worth eating low carb I don't know what is. I never want to feel or live that way again. This is truly the great motivator for me. Freedom from IBS!

                    So, maybe you just needed a reminder of how truly horrible carbs make your life and now that you've had that jolt you will head right back on track. You can do it...you know you can...we know you can.

                    I would like to say though, I admire you for coming and posting every day no matter what. Some would have just given up posting when they strayed from eating low carb...but you were here faithfully, day in and day out, confessing what had happened that day. You have tons of strength girl...now use it for GOOD not for EVIL...

                    AND...Happy Birthday Mrs.Davis....a comfortable size 14...ah life is good! Congrats and have a great day.

                    And a great legal day to you all....

                      Sandy, today is your day, I can feel it. PLAN out those foods, PLAN some exercise, PLAN to drink that water. Strudel is right--it's awesome that you check in each day. Use that dedication and motivation! TODAY IS YOUR DAY!

                      Well morning, all. I'm planning a run today, as well as some upper body strength training. Boot Camp class is cancelled tonight, so I'll have to be motivated to kick my own butt. I'm hoping to drop some TOM water weight in the next couple of days. But I think I've lost inches. My size 10 shorts are getting loose, and I might have to buy some size 8s! I cannot even comprehend that...

                        Morning everyone! Sounds like everyone is off and running to a great start this week.
                        Reading the Atkins book again... fell asleep to it last night... so good to be reminded why were on this WOE! We are all getting healthier and stronger!!!! Isn't that amazing!
                        I'm off to my sewing class... then gonna get toes and fingernails done... will ride bike after that or walk... still really sore today... retaining water... last nights dinner must have had a lot of salt in it. Water, water, water... here I come.

                          Good morning everyone!

                          I am back! We arrived back last night after 10 glorious days of vacation in England! I was going to be good, Atkins-wise, but I confess that I have committed innumerable low carb sins while on vacation. It's probably better not to go into much detail. I have now repented and am on the straight and narrow, but I don't think I'll do induction again. I'll just be very good! I weighed in this morning and I've only gained 1.5lbs. I barely drank any water and must have been dehydrated most of the time, so I am now guzzling water. We had such a good time visiting friends. Such a good time.

                          I was able to check in occasionally, but now I am back. I hope everyone is doing well. Sandy, you and I are going to get back into the low carb groove and everything is going to be GREAT!!!

                            Sheepie, work hard this week to tighten things up, you know a trip can really throw you off...I love that you are just moving forward from here, way to go! Just think how cool that is to just keep moving forward, back to your routines.....
