    Woohoo, it's Friiiiiiiiiidddaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy!!! And, I lost.5 this morning!

    Almost at 20 lbs! Can't wait to hit it! Oh, and bought a pair of 9/10 capris the other day!!! A little snug in the waist, but otherwise the fit great!!!

    I truly believe this WOE is all about PLANNING. I am not a planner at all, but I have been making sure that there is ALWAYS something around for me to eat. When I cook dinner, I try to make extra for lunch the next day, or I will cook a huge batch of whatever to freeze on the weekends. This has been a lifesaver for me. A no-brainer in the morning when I am trying to figure out my day.

    Great job Lisa! Nothing like a few plans to keep things on track...I swear I plot and plan all the time. Either working out foods or the near future..Always plotting and planning....always....then comes the follow through...
    Up early today off for a big bike ride training....I am not in the mood for this, I'm tired from the inside out....

        Good job Sassie lee...

        You guys are right, it is all about planning. If you plan ahead it makes life so much easier, and it keeps you on track with this WOE. No room for excuses when you plan. I'm so glad it is Friday, this week took forever to get through. I'm still stalled and still up a pound, but I KNOW the whoosie fairy is going to visit me real soon, and I'm excited about that. I'm still going clothes shopping this weekend, haven't changed my mind, will keep you posted on the drama. Have a great Friday everyone.

          Good morning! You guys are up early! I am so glad it's Friday. It's going to be hot again, so I'm actually looking forward to going to work because we don't have a/c at home. I had a little too much salt yesterday, so I don't expect a happy weigh-in this morning, but that's okay, I know it's the salt. Drink. Drink. Drink.

                Been camping and made it 2 days w/out cheating ...the 3rd day ugh! Lots of water 4 me today. great recipe ideas on another thread going grocerie shopping tonight and amp'in the exercise! Have a great day everyone.

                  Morning, moving slow today. went to the dr and have a sinus infection (no fun) took yesterday afternoon off and slept. that was great! I really needed it. glad its friday.

                      Good Morning Everyone and Happy Friday!

                      I started going further down the planning path a couple days ago by signing up on FitDay and tracking my food intake. I'm glad I did this because some of the things I am eating are higher in carbs than I thought they were. Like Romaine Lettuce! I was shocked. This just goes to show me that I have to plan better and pay closer attention to the carb counts in the food.

                      The water intake is going great. I am getting used to it and believe me I fought this change all the way. I loved my diet coke. It has been a change for the better now that I can say I am not putting all those chemicals into my body every single day.

                      I am still trying to get my blood pressure stabilized. I go back to the doctor on the 15th of this month. I am monitoring it every day and it is hanging around 146/92 on average.

                      Speedy hope you are feeling better soon, Kelly congrats on the no cheating!, Sheepie have a great day we will be watching our salt together,
                      Blaze I am wishing you a whooshie fairy visit real soon, Jess have a great bike ride. Once you get going everything will kick in. Morning Fossy, Gem and Sassi hope your Friday is a great one. Sandy it is good to see you here I missed seeing your posts. Hang in there!

                        Good morning, everyone.

                        Checking in late after having insomnia last night and just being worn out from this week. I'm taking it easy today so I can recover some more from the past couple months.

                        Hoping that my life will be settling down very soon and that I can get into a routine and develop some strong Atkins habits. It's gotten too easy to let it go "for the time being," eating and drinking more of the wrong foods. Got to bring all that to a screeching halt, regardless of what is going on. If Jess can do it through her heart-breaking time, there's no reason why I, and some of us others, can't do it, too.

                        Anyway, cheat-free so far today. Been awake for an hour and fifteen minutes... Got the rest of the day to go! LOL!

                          Hi Everyone,

                          whew, long week and oh, so tired. Riding that positive motivation railroad.

                          I started induction today to reach that ketosis heaven. The cravings are kinda bad because I have to remind myself that it is just food. The stuff I crave really doesn't taste good anyway. So, why do I want it?

                          Now, it is getting easier to say no. Especially, with all of the gosh darn exercise I'm doing. I want to feed my body good healthy stuff.

                          Anyway, have a great friday!

                            Hello everyone. You'll probably notice right away that I'm new here. I've been "lurking" around here for quite a while, but didn't know why I couldn't post. Well, it turns out I didn't active myself. Now that I've done that, I get to post! Yeah!

                            So, I figure I belong here, as I seem to be "Sheba Mistress of Restart". I've done Atkins several times with great results and truly find it's the best WOE for my body and gives me the wonderful benefit of not starving to death. However....

                            I think you guys know the rest of that sentence. *Sniff*. Anyway, I'm back on the program (again) and am confident it's for good this time. No more losing 10 or 15 pounds just so I can get off track and gain it back (plus a few more).

                              Happy Friday All!

                              Yesterday for the first time in awhile I got panicky on my way home from work because I realized that I had NOTHING PLANNED FOR DINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Luckily, I had one cooked chicken breast in the fridge and some leftover tomato n onion salad. Phew. I so realized how I have gotten dependant on planning (I don't even have a can of tuna in the house!!!). Another lesson RE-learned and disaster overted......Need to make a grocery stop on the way home today.

                              A sand castle contest is in my plans for this weekend. (I LOVE the beach) I had luck in the Free Form category last year (first place!) so my standard is set. I always tell my husband "I am not in it to win it" but he just looks at me. It IS fun to win, but it is a fun day at the beach no matter how it turns out!
