Re: Don't let the scale upset you

LoL! You have a great sense of fuzzy logic! WOW! My fuzzy logic goes something like this (it's much more simple).

If I gained weight, it must be water or PMS, so it certainly doesn't count.
If I lost weight, I must have completely earned it, and it is officially gone! YAY ME!

Next day - repeat the process. Although generally, I get stuck on step one...for 40 pounds still reasoning it's "water weight". That's why my process isn't in any nationally renowned books or recommended by any MD's because it lands me right back into the STAC board instead of my goal weight. But hey, this is a learning process, right? LOL!

I agree...when I see a low number.. I claim it..of course I always go back and forth before I go down again

            Aint that the truth, Sandy!

Down, then up, then down, then up, then lower. Story of my weight loss. If I lived by what the scale said every morning, I'd be psychotic!

You know what really helps? Is using Fitday and tracking your weight loss on the graph they have. You really start to see what your pattern is.

Re: Don't let the scale upset you

Thank you Evermind. The lbs move like molasses for me now, but yahoo, I have 8.5 more lbs to go since my "real weigh in" yesterday. Today I was 1.5 lbs up. I questioned my whole day, bite by bite... but not anymore! Thank you so much! I actually had a "this ain't gonna work for you anymore" moment, like so many other times. I've re-inducted after a few months off and have been struggling to get back on religiously. But week 1 was a success, down 2 lbs after a major emotional war. I will not weigh until Sunday again, and I will flush those little suckers out of my body. Thank you, thank you, thank you for inspiring me to drink my water, stay off the scale, and for justifying that stupid scale!
