  • September goals: announce and report

    Ok, this thread is for any STAC-ers who would like to set some goals for the month of September and report on them as the days go by. Some people may want to set just one goal, others (like me) may have several that they are working toward.

    This is NOT a challenge. A challenge is something that you can drop out of or fail. These are GOALS. Goals are objectives that you are working toward. Some days you may be going forward,some days you may not. It's the ultimate end that you are looking at.

    So my goals are that by September 30, I will

    1. be able to run a mile without stopping.

    2. Have a gym routine involving a minimum of 3 days per week.

    3. Be drinking a minimum of 64 oz of water 5 out of 7 days (I'm currently at about 3 days.)

    4. Still be here!

    Tape Measure: I've lost 42.5 inches as of 3/15/2008

    Mini goals:
    215 - met 9/10/07
    205 - met 10/17/07
    195 - met 2/20/08
    180

    My goals are to:
    1. drink at least 86 oz of water a day.
    2. exercize 5 x a week
    3. Not cheat
    4. Move up the rungs without panicking
    5. Keep my ADBB friends.

        Ok, I'm in:

        1. To fit in my smallest pair of favorite jeans
        2. Walk 3 mi. at least 4 times a week
        3. Keep Splenda use down to 2 pks/day

        Gave up coffee a couple weeks ago, so that goal is acheived as far as I am concerned. Still miss it tho.

          September Goals-

          #1 Stay on Atkins

          #2 Get my Vegi intake up more consistantly so that I can move onto rung#2 someday.

          #3 Implement my "conditioning" which will involve 2 days a week weight training and 2 days a week cardio eventually morphing into the C25K (after Sept 16th).

          #4 Loose some additional poundage/inches.

            Here are my goals:
            By September 30th, I will have...

            1. Walked at least 25 miles w/ my WATP DVDs
            2. Moved up to rung #2 on OWL
            3. Lost at least 10 more lbs (weighing 207 or less)
            Started AGAIN 3/23/2009
            29/f 5'5 235/226/145 (maybe 135, we'll see.

              My goals for September

              #1 Stay on plan and stay at ADBB

              #2 Up my exercise (including fullfilling my Abs challenge promise)

              #3 Move to Rung 1 for the first time ever

                OK...September goals...

                1. not weigh in more than once a week (once the Weigh no weigh challenge is over)

                2. keep up the gym, as my daughter is now in school and she finds it hard to go at 6am and I might lose her as a training partner.

                3. try a bunch of new Atkins recipes so that I don't get bored.

                4. stop stressing out over the slowness of my weight loss (ha ha good one!)

                  My September goals are:

                  1: Drink more water

                  2: Start working out 3 days during the week, in addition to my Saturday's and Sunday's that I already do

                  3: To have my newly fitting size 26 pants be too big by the end of September

                  4: To meet my first goal of 299 by the end of September

                    Goals for Sept:

                    1. To be CALMER! My son and his new found issues with Aspergers has been a challenge. He really, really, really brings out the worst in me sometimes. We are both relearning how to deal with difficult situations when they arise and we aren't always the best at it. I want to learn to be more patient and be able to stop and understand where he is coming from when he is close to a meltdown.

                    2. To keep my water intake at or above 90 oz. I've been doing well with this one so I'm hoping this will be an easy one.

                    3. To keep moving up rungs every week until I hit a no lose week.

                    I think that'll do for one month--lol. It looks pretty ambitious. Good luck with all of your goals this month.

                      Just checking in, on September 3:

                      I have NOT been drinking enough water, but today I'm already doing great in that area.

                      I think I'm going to change my running goal to TWO miles without stopping, since I can already do a mile and a half. (wow!!!!!!!!!!)

                        1. 20 minutes on the eliptical /5 days a week
                        2. Continue clean induction/ then extened induction through Sep.
                        3. Drink over 60oz. of water a day
                        4. Stay with challenges

                            My water has been going well. It's definately been above 90 oz. everyday since the 1st.

                            Stress.....I'm working on that. Had a bad day last week and it could have gone better but at least I realized what was going on and fixed it before it spiralled completely out of control.


                            I'm still on rung one and the scale has all but refused to move. I'm losing inches though so I plan on climbing up another rung tomorrow.

                              I'm a little late, but here are mine:

                              1. DRINK MY WATER! I don't count the water I drink (about 1 L) when I'm working out...so my goal is to drink at least 64 oz. over that

                              2. Workout a total of 6 days a week; at least 4 at the gym and the other two by walking or doing a video at home.

                              3. Stop the social drinking (I know I'm not supposed to be anyway, but it's been hard this holiday week...err, weekend)
