    I hope its not too late for me to set my goals for Sept:


    1. First and foremost is to keep coming back to ADBB and Atkins everyday regardless of if I slip or not.

    2. Drink at least 100 oz of water daily

    3. Exercise at least 4 days per week

      I totally blew the stress thing today. My daughter is teething and I haven't slept well in three days.

      Yell monster I was today and I'm not proud of it. It didn't help that my hubby was working all day long either leaving me here to fend for myself. lol. They outnumber me!!

      I'll have to make it up to them tomorrow. Right now I need some Tylenol!

        Ok, I'm doing well on the exercise routine and the running part.

        The water thing is still just not happening, and I feel it. I'm gonna go chug some now. Maybe if I tie a bottle to my nose.............

            Yesterday I finally drank the correct amount of water!!!!!!!!!!!!

              I'm doing pretty good on my goals ......... the water is the one I struggle with the most I easily get to about 70 each day but those last 20 are harder for me. The running and squatting are going fine ......... and I hit 195 this morning so I am half way to my next weight goal!

              My September goals:

              * drink at least 90 ounces of water a day
              * Stay faithful to my Couch potato challenge
              * start and finish my squat challenge
              * Meet my next mini goal of 189

                For the September challenge, I have done 5/25 miles, lost 1.8/10lbs, and am well on my way to being on rung #2 by the end of September.
                Started AGAIN 3/23/2009

                  For the second day in a row yesterday, I managed to drink enough water.

                  I also worked out at the gym, and I feel like I'm well on my way to establishing a workout routine four days a week.

                    Good for you Evermind! I am at the same place as you...gym 4 times a week...I actually miss it when I don't go!

                      1.Walk atleast 4 miles a week
                      2. Up my water intake from 80oz a day to 150oz.
                      3. Stop looking at the darn scale!
                      4. Watch my processed meat intake.

                        Darn it! I just can't seem to get consistent and frequent on the water issue!

                          Hey Evermind,

                          Here is what I do. I have 3 - 1 liter bottles. I fill them up each day. I have one before I allow myself anything to eat- I am getting good at chugging water as soon as I get up at 6 am (I have supplements that have to be taken on an empty stomach and no food for 30 minutes)- It usually takes me about 1 hour to get theat first bottle down, then I open the next one around 9-10 am- I try to finish that one by lunch time. Then I have the other one for the evening meal- and TV watching time.... I also keep several 20 oz bottles in my van so if I get thirsty I am not tempted to stop for a big gulp (((( do they even make those any more?)))

                          This works for me- but there are days now and then that I do not drink all 3. Sometimes I need to have a diet rite black cherry soda- and that is okay

                            Thanks, Alaska girl - I'm gonna try that.

                            I've been bringing chilled bottles to work with me, and keep one on my desk and one near the whiteboard, but wouldn't you know it, I hardly ever remember to take a swig......until lunch time, and then I'm eating, so I don't get a whole bottle down.

                            But maybe if I schedule it like you do, I'll do better.

                              I'm here to report that I have been able to run 2 miles without stopping on many occasions by now, and I am definately in the groove of a 3x a week trip to the gym.

                              I'm also still here!

                              My big obstacle is still the water, but I'm working on it, a little at a time.
