    Good Monday morning, all!

    I have lunches packed, am drinking coffee, and waiting for my eggs to cool enough so I can eat them.

    Something very significant happened last night: Yesterday I FINALLY managed to remember to drink enough water, and I FINALLY ate sufficient calories to be around the right range of my bmi.

    And guess what? I hit my mini goal, after hovering at 216 for nearly 2 weeks.

    So today, even though it's not an official weigh date, I'm 215. That's 20 lbs lost since Jully 29.

    I'm glad to see the scale move, because I'm not losing many inches this time around, and I like something measurable.

    Back to school this week, but only for three days, as I have religious holidays on Thursday and Friday. I'm totally in love with my students - how great is it to completely look forward to each morning?????

    Today I will probably work out after school, but I reserve the right to call a rest day at the last minute given yesterday's run and workout. I had to take a 3 hour nap yesterday AND went to sleep at 9 p.m. after that.

    I think about all of you every day. Sheepie, I wonder when that darned sweetener is coming. STrudel, I just love everything you write. Jess, I am where you were a year ago, and you are where I want to be next year, though probably not with a triathelon training. Meena, you are just awesome the way you strive for the balance. Lynsey and Heidi, love your attitudes. Byker, I follow your lead at the gym. Those are just a few of you who are in my thoughts.

    Eggs......I miss eggs. Ever since that mock danish my stomach can't handle them. Curse whoever came up with that recipe!! lol

    I had an interesting stomach upsetty night. I'm still feeling it this morning a bit. I'm off in a minute to drop the boys at school and then I'll have my coffee.

    Hugs evermind. You are one of the people who inspire me everyday to get up and just do it! Congrats on your progress. I can hardly wait until Wednesday to find out my numbers. That evil scale is calling my name. hahaha.

      Hugs Evermind, you are certainly becoming one of the bright lights of this Forum...You keep spreading your good cheer and success around, it'll make all of us rise up a touch today! Good luck with school, and YES, do reserve a right to take a rest day if need be! You go Meena, you too are amazing!

        Good Morning.. Well I broke my coffee pot this morning.. NOT A GOOD way to start Monday... Hubby brought me a cup when he got here this morning.. I will be off to Walmart in a little bit..

        Getting discouraged as the scale hasn't budge at all this week...tomorrow is my actual weigh in day so hopefully it will be kind. But TOM is here..so I am trying to remember that..

          Meena- hope your belly feels better soon.

          Sandy- don't get discouraged by the scale. Whenever I'm tempted to get discouraged by the numbers I just tell myself "well I'm due a big whoosie soon", and sure enough by the end of the week the whooshie fairy pays a visit and makes it all better.

            Evermind, you are indeed a bright light for us here and it is a pleasure to follow your journey.

            I enjoyed hearing about your major accomplishment this weekend, Jess. Nice!

            Meena, it's great that you are staying so involved in the . It is what has kept me focused and consistent.

            Sandy, I can't tell you how good it does my heart to see you here again. I'm glad DH was able to bring you some coffee. And I know I don't need to say this because you already know it, but - step away from that damned scale while TOM is around! LOL - it will mess with your head. Take pride in how well you've done on this restart... I have faith in you! You will be successful.

              Good morning everyone!

              Same saga going on here...waiting for sweetner, waiting for water filter parts.

              Quiet weekend. Church and then visited a frontier encampment.

              Yesterday I was really craving something sweet and that's unusual for me. I was looking at some low carb recipe sites and found some really yummy looking recipes. I'm thinking about making something and bringing it to work to share since I'm always saying "no" to everyone else's goodies.

              And Evermind, most of my coworkers and clients are celebrating holidays starting this week too. Should be a quiet week for me. Shana Tova.

                Sandy, I know all about that scale not budging, or only budging a fraction of a lb. at a time.

                I'm in a slow period right now. 1 lb in 2 weeks, basically. Plus, I have not lost many inches since I started the woe, so when you look at me, there's not much of a change in my body.

                What I do is focus on how terrific I feel. Loads of energy, a general sense of well-being....all the great feelings that come when you eat healthy food and have detoxed from the icky stuff.

                Hang in there, babe. If TOM were a person, we could ostracize him and slap him around...........

                  Good morning everyone! Well, stocking my fridge has made a big difference on sticking to it this weekend, and I feel good about it. I didn't see the scale move, but I'm going to stay positive, and wait to see what next week says before making any adjustments. I know I've been eating well, I just need to drink more water...so that's my goal this week, is get back on track with H20 consumption.

                  I hope you all have a wonderful day, as fall starts to creep up on us.

                    Checking in. I've been doing fair on the eating, (minor errors due to the "Chef for the Cure" wingding at the hospital....WOW how yummy some of that stuff was!!!!) but missed workout on Friday and will probably miss today. Was going to work out Saturday, but spent most of the day and all night at the hospital with Mom. Going back today. Surgery tomorrow. At least I got a good night's sleep last night in my own bed.

                    I so desperately want to go to the gym because I don't want to loose what I've worked so hard to gain. I'm actually considering going to the gym today between trips to Tulsa...I seem to be the main 'shuttle'. Coordinating everyones schedules gets a bit crazy. I have three trips today but those are only the planned ones. Good thing I own a Corolla!

                    But they serve health conscience delicious food (even at the wingding) so I'm not only able to stay on track diet wise, it's very very yummy! Weighed this morning and I'm still down, so I think I'm past that 5 pound yo-yo I had for a month. Now it's holding steady at the lower weight! YEA!!!!!! I was sooo waiting for that cycle to break. Now to focus on the next five pounds. ***MUST GO TO GYM***

                        Good Morning Everyone,

                        I am really excited to be here this morning and starting over. Last week I changed my doctor for good and found a really wonderful woman who is helping me remain on the Atkins Diet and tweeking it for low sodium. I really loved the way I felt when I was doing Atkins, no bloating, no pain. You guys know what I mean. My blood pressure was up back then and I was getting alot of heat to go off the diet and I ended up giving in. Doing the low sodium diet was a good thing and I realized over the last few weeks that I can go back to Atkins I just have to make better food choices and read labels. There are alternatives out there.

                        So here I am again. Day one of induction and eager and ready to just put one foot in front of the other and go forward. I also signed up on ediets and it has been so wonderul. I love it. It has trained me to drink half my body weight in water, take my vitamin everyday and to stay on plan. I can do this.

                        Jess congrats on becoming the hostess of the STAC. That is great!

                        I gotta run, just wanted to check in and get going again. I have missed you guys and our chats so much. It feels really...really good to be home.

                          Good Morning everyone!
                          Worked all weekend! So happy to have a day off!
                          Will go for my run in a few minutes, clean house like crazy all day then do my slim n 6 video in afternoon. Upper arms are sore this am from SN6... feeling tired... but gotta get house clean for fam. reunion this weekend! Gonna crank up some tunes for cleaning....ds left fb helmet on kitchen counter so gonna have to run that over to the school probably....
                          Where in the heck is TOM... he's been harrassing me now for two weeks! Come on already!

                            Check in, Hi All!

                            Today is day 7, 6 of which have been cheat free. I've only lost 2 pounds, but I'm going to stay positive and see what next week will bring. Strange, I don't feel hungry and for the first 3 days for some reason I wasn't getting in enough carbs. Do you think that can effect your weight loss? Hola!
