I've been doing maintenance but I've been using the low carb Lean Cuisine and Weight Watchers meals (between 8 to 11 carbs per meal) for my lunch. I eat oatmeal for breakfast (since I had made it to that rung) and bacon. I eat BBQ pork rinds for snacks. I had to cut back on peanuts (not doing to well with my internal system). Dinner is whatever is on hand that isn't covered in breading. I've been maintaining at 185. I also ride my bike for 30 minutes a day while I watch the Young and the Restless. Yep, this fibroid is so much worse than the endometriosis ever thought about being but to have them both sucks!! These pills seem to be helping some (except for the hunger issue).

Ray and Tashiana are doing great. They're buds. He has her spoiled already. I've noticed that she has started to refer to him as "daddy" when she is talking to her friends. I'm not sure how to handle that. I don't want her to think it's a bad thing and I've told him what she has said (he almost cried). He enjoys it so I guess there's no harm in it. They usually gang up on me and if she wants something and he's coming to visit she will call him and he'll buy it and bring it to her. So spoiled.

How is everyone? Fill me in on details.

I had a horrible emotional eating day yesterday...mexican food followed by 3 brownies. All is back to normal today.

        How is everyone?

            Hello Derby Girls!!

Hope this finds you all well, healthy & happy. All is well here in Vermont. Happy to report my knee is doing fantastic~~~no pain despite rain, work, going up & down stairs & walking!! You cannot imagine how happy this makes me. I'm now super motivated to kick things up a notch & start seeing some more weight drop off! I did the Veggie Challenge which was excellent & a real eye opener. I was not getting enough veggie carbs every day. I also realized the importance of documenting everything going into my mouth. I would highly recommend doing the Veggie Challenge~~~I think it is done 2x a year. Keep your eyes posted!

My son Jim leaves Texas in less than 2 weeks. Please keep us in your prayers~~~I need to find an apartment!!! I'm also nervous about them driving here~~~I know I'm being ridiculous. My son will be 29 in September but I still worry. The grandkids ( 4, 3 & 1) are soooo excited about coming to Vermont & getting to see some cows!

Have a great week everyone! Hope to hear from you all here on this thread~~~how are you doing with this WOL & life in general?

Sounds like everything is going great for you. I think as parents we will ALWAYS worry. Are they moving to Vermont?

I'm still figuring out what works...what doesn't (like the pizza buffet at Gattitown - my daughter had a field trip last Friday).
I'm still at 185. I'm still doing my daily 30 minutes on the stationary bike (almost up to 5 miles; at 4.6 miles).

I pray you are all well. Take care of yourselves. PMS is kicking my behind.

Hey ladies!! Sorry that I disappeared again. My last dose of Vitamin D was about 3 weeks ago (the prescription) and I went downhill from there battling depression and fatigue. My doc appointment was not until this past Tuesday. They did bloodwork to test my Vitamin D levels and my thyroid. They said they'd have the labwork back on Thursday and call me but they didn't call. So I called them and they said it would take longer. Huh? Why? I bought some over the counter Vitamin D (2000 units per pill). My script was 50,000 units for one week that I took once per week. Something has got to give.

Glenda, so tell me is your son settled in? He and his family were supposed to move on the 31st right? How ecstatic are you?

Lashon, good to see you back on track girl. Hang in there!

Katie, how is your WW going?

I tried to log in one day when this site was under maintenance and it wouldn't let me check anything so maybe people are M.I.A. due to that.

Oh, here are pics of mine and Ray's wedding bands.

It's great to hear from you Cat!! The rings are stunning!! How are you doing with maintaining your weight? How maddening to have to wait for the blood work~~~did they say they were doing further testing??

My son is leaving TX today. They are driving home so I don't expect him until June 3 or 4. They are planning on traveling based on how the children handle being in the car for long periods of time. The kids are 4, 3 & 14 months~~~can't forget the dog!! So needless to say I'm filled with anxiety. On top of that TOM is kicking my a$$ & I'm super emotional. Will post when they arrive! Maybe even some pictures!!

Have a great day everyone! The rain has stopped so I think I'll go for a walk before it starts again.
