  • Whatch eatin' today?!

    What are you having today?
    Here is my menu:
    B - 2 turkey burgers with horseradish mustard
    L - tuna/mayo on top of romaine lettuce
    D - tilapia with broccoli and cauliflower
    S - if needed SF jello
    Lots of water!

    Still trying to be gentle to an upset tum, but today I had:

    Break - hot tea, 1 drumstick, 1 egg and 3 jimmy dean sausages
    Lunch - water & 1.5 cup of cream of cauliflower soup w/ cheese
    Tea - hot tea & Atkins Endulge bar
    Dinner - tbd. I have to go to a children's birthday party immediately after work, but I am hoping that they have some cheese or something there to nibble.

    I may start living on that cream of cauliflower soup. Mmmmm that was good.

      I'll have to look up that soup recipe! Winter is approaching way too fast for me!

        Cut the onion and flour in half to get a more Atkins-friendly carb count. Add some cheese at the end, variety your choice, for extra numminess. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Cream-o...-I/Detail.aspx

          L- chopped hamburger on a salad with ranch dressing

          D- Chicken thighs broc and Caul mix with alfredo sauce

          S - cheese chips and sour cream

            HrGillespie - please talk to me about these cheese chips. I have heard them mentioned before. How do you make them? What kind of cheese works best?

                For breakfast I had cheese eggs cooked in butter

                For lunch I had baked chicken and cucumbers/w ranch dressing

                I'm not sure what I'm going to have for dinner yet, probably a spinach salad with grilled chicken or grilled fish

                  This is my menu for today...

                  meal 1: 2 eggs fried in butter, 5 strips of bacon
                  meal 2: 1 tuna pattie (made with celery and onion), 1 string cheese
                  meal 3: Chicken stir fried with garlic and broccoli and cilantro
                  meal 4: 16 cheese chips with 2 tablespoons of sour cream
                  meal 5: 1 hard boiled egg


                  My net carbs will be 17 after the fiber subtraction

                    I had a pretty good day today.

                    B - 2 eggs and 2 slices of bacon
                    L - 1 oz of peanuts, chicken salad, and some celery
                    S - Chicken
                    D - Tastycake sensibles. I think they're about 6 carbs a piece.

                      *Way over ate on the peanuts. Got a big jar from Costco. Should have been smarter then to take the whole thing to work.

                          L-Chicken wings.. I didn't eat a veggie..bad me

                            B- Reindeer Sausage fried in butter, 2 oz of smoked cheddar cheese

                            L- Huge salad w/ buffalo chicken, crumbled bacon, crumbled blue cheese & ranch dressing (lettuce, tomato, cilantro, spinach)

                            D- Chicken Fajita meat, onions, mushrooms, tomatos, cilantro

                            S- Mock Mousse- Cream Cheese, SF pudding, & Hvy Cream- 3 Tablespoons.
