Wow, good morning!
Yesterday eveningI discovered that I have.................(drumroll...) PINK EYE! So no school for me today (even though probably one of my students gave it to me!) and none for dh or dd either, since they all woke up with crusty eyes. Luckily, I have the eye drops, so I am well on the road to recovery this a.m.
I will spend the day catching up on University coursework, which is really great - thank GOD for pinkeye! And dh is helping once his eye un-puffs.
Yesterday was great, aside from the you-know-what. First of all, I wore my size 14 jeans and a cute sweater, and I have to say, I looked slender for the first time in a year. Still sorta beefy, but slender in the waist and legs, compared to where I've been.
Second of all, I had great food. I have discovered how to make my own soups (you'd think I'd know by now, but I never experimented) so I've been having yummy lunches.
Thirdly, I just FELT good.
Today will be even better. I fell asleep around 10 (late for me, really late) but we slept until 8, which means I got 10 hours of sleep. I obviously needed it. I feel full of beans this morning.
I love getting together with all of you for coffee in the morning! Everyone is making so much progress, trudging up and down the hills of life! Great, positive attitudes, and no whining! I LOVE YOU GUYS!
