    Wow, good morning!

    Yesterday eveningI discovered that I have.................(drumroll...) PINK EYE! So no school for me today (even though probably one of my students gave it to me!) and none for dh or dd either, since they all woke up with crusty eyes. Luckily, I have the eye drops, so I am well on the road to recovery this a.m.

    I will spend the day catching up on University coursework, which is really great - thank GOD for pinkeye! And dh is helping once his eye un-puffs.

    Yesterday was great, aside from the you-know-what. First of all, I wore my size 14 jeans and a cute sweater, and I have to say, I looked slender for the first time in a year. Still sorta beefy, but slender in the waist and legs, compared to where I've been.

    Second of all, I had great food. I have discovered how to make my own soups (you'd think I'd know by now, but I never experimented) so I've been having yummy lunches.

    Thirdly, I just FELT good.

    Today will be even better. I fell asleep around 10 (late for me, really late) but we slept until 8, which means I got 10 hours of sleep. I obviously needed it. I feel full of beans this morning.

    I love getting together with all of you for coffee in the morning! Everyone is making so much progress, trudging up and down the hills of life! Great, positive attitudes, and no whining! I LOVE YOU GUYS!

        I'm late...I don't even think I posted yesterday...yesterday was busy at work and I had soccer practice last night. My poor little girls are just too polite and cute to be aggressive. *ugh* We may never win a game, but DAMN we look good!!

          My scale is possessed. Every morning I jump on it and nothing. This morning it says I have lost three pounds. What gives? Tomorrow I have a tooth cleaning and the dentist office is in the same building as my doctor so I am going to pop in and weigh on the doctor's scale. Hope I am not too disappointed.
          Its a warm day in NY . I was out feeding our chickens in short sleeves. Amaizing weather this fall . Now I am going to see if I can order the Yoga DVD everyone has been talking about. I need to start some sort of exercize program and that sounds like the least painful.

            Im fed-up, dissapointed, and miserable today. Just one of those days which has turned out to be a catalogue of disasters and all of them to do with money and none of it my fault!!! If I can get through this evening without going near anything illegal, then I deserve sainthood!!!

              Bambina - poor thang. I've had a bit of that myself during the last 2 months. SUCH stress! It's icky! Take a walk or a run. Get some exercise. And make something yummy for dinner. Also buy a lottery ticket..........

                Hi everyone... jetlagged but happy... had a great night tonight with dd at Wicked...(you know I'm in london now right?) amazing show... eating aweful! had soup and baggette for lunch... first real carb I've had... made me slightly ill... at least looking 'round for nearest bathroom too oftain... anyways, forgot dinner... bought a tiny thing of ice cream and shared a few bites with dh... got back to late for dinner... had a pint at a pub with friend and bf and dd and now... here I am finally on the computer at the hotel... it's very popular... always a line. dd leaving tomorrow for scottland, so will spend the am together then won't see her again til she comes home and bf is going on 10 day tour of italy....
                I'm so freakin' jealous... but they've been awesome! and love the bf...
                roommate situations has been tense though... accidently woke them up on arrival... oops... one girl is quite the drama queen... dd has been totally stressed out by them... anyways... girls! they're catty and emotional and full of drama. and being around that was exhausting to my brain.
                well, was really good on flight and yesterday, but didn't eat enough today and ate wrong... can't sleep very well... hope tonight it's better.... carbs are everywhere! oh! help! salad salad salad....
                had nuts just now, but not many trying to make them last....

                Work out this am at 5 am saved me from complete emotional breakdown... dd is so a grown up now... nothing will ever be the same... she may come home but I bet she'll be off again as soon as she can. She is so happy with db... he calls her 'the love of my live' and say stuff like... 'yeah, we're coming home via Las Vegas...' but not the elvis chapel, the star wars chapel!!! (hope to God they're really kidding)
                OMG! They're so crazy in love it 's rediculous! but sweet, and they have lots of cool, nice, smart, iteresting friends.
