    Good Morning everyone! I am sitting here wide awake at 5:20 with everyone in my house sound asleep so I thought I would hobble on in here and check in I got to read back a little and it sounds like everyone is doing good and staying on track! I am sticking to the WOE fine and really finding most of the time I am not hungry as I am not doing anything but laying around. I am up two pounds but I am guessing it's fluids since I am so swollen still and not really eating much. My body misses the excercise so much .... not just mentally but physically I ache from being so sedate all day long ........ I can't wait to get moving again! Funny how I used to love being a couch potato and now being forced to be one I hate it! LOL

    Today I go to the docs for my first check and hopefully get some crutch relief and can start adding a little weight to my foot .........

    I hope everyone has a fabulous Friday and wonderful weekend too!

        Happy Friday everyone!

        Cirque du Soleil was amazing last night. As I was watching these people that have 'nary an ounce of fat on them, I was giggling to myself about my comment yesterday ('as soon as I get my yoga dvd, i'll look just like 'em'). I can't even imagine the rigor of their workouts.

        I'm a little tired this a.m. as it was late when we got home. But it's Friday and was very worth it.

        Still a cheat-free October for me. Yesterday I was really hungry in the afternoon; all I had for lunch was a few veggies. Thank goodness for the cheese that I had with me! It was the first hungry day I've had since about Day 2 of induction, but I got over the hump.

            Good Morning Everyone.. Well I got up at 4am today! 4:30 twice this week.. I like it but I don't like it...lol

            Its 7 am and I have been cleaning away.. My daughters birthday party is next Friday and I am trying to get some stuff done ahead of time so I am NOT stressing next week...

            I have a lot of things to deal with this weekend..But I have a plan..

            Tonight I am working... They have left over Roast beef from yesterday..YAY...I should be good to go with dinner..

            Tomorrow is my Nieces Sweet 16th birthday party.. They are having all sorts of bad stuff.. ONLY thing I can have is a Hamburger and a Hotdog..

            Sunday we have a big Back to School Bash with 7 other churches.. There will be Hamburgers and Hotdogs there too.. So of course my side dish is something I can eat... So I will probably be fixing my Broccoli Salad Saturday and I am going to fix a German Potato Salad that is on the Recipe section.. So I will take that to the Nieces party so I can eat something...

            And even though I am not to the rung yet...There is a recipe for Peanut Butter and Jelly Cookies.. I am going to fix those also... I will be around soooooooo many temptations.. So I gotta have something with me..

                Hey everyone. Tell me it is normal to be waking up at 4am!! For about the last 10 days I seem to be waking up earlier and earlier (today is 12th day of induction). Not that it's a bad thing, because I usually always get up around 5:45am on a weekday. Sometimes I would love a sleep in, but it seems that my body has other plans. When this happens, I feel a little tired, but nowhere near as tired as I was on a 'normal balanced eating plan'. You gotta love this WOE!! Have a great day

                    Morning! I woke at 5:30 weighed and crawled back in bed - LOL. Lost 1/2 lb and I'm happy with that.

                    Now off for a super busy day - and it is supposed to rain!! We are in such a drought it is killing us.

                      Good lord, what a HUGE number of early risers and posters here! Well, welcome to ketosis. It's sort of worn off for me, and nowadays I appreciate a longer night's sleep, not that I get it very often!

                      Yesterday I had a loooong day with my students (who have separation anxiety when I'm gone and then take a day or two to get back to normal - keep your fingers crossed for today!). Came home, sent dh off to work, and realized that my entire gym bag including shoes were in his car. No problem, said I. I'll do yoga! No could do..........couldn't find it (daughter had taken it to a friend's house along with a pilates video).

                      I decided that this was a sign: I was supposed to have a rest day.

                      So, I took a bath and went to bed at 5 pm and had a lovely evening watching tv and reading.

                      Tonight, though, it's either a gym workout, or a run. Dh doesn't work, daughter brought video back, and we're set. l

                      Tomorrow, for once on a weekend, dh has the entire day off! We are going on a day trip to Coronado Island, which will allow lots and lots of walking and sunshine. Can't wait!

                      I'm getting a tiny bit bored with my food choices, so this afternoon I'm going to surf the recipe sites and print out several to try this weekend - I usually do all of my cooking for the week on Sunday.

                      Heidi - I'm so glad you are (sorta) up and around! We miss you!

                            Sandy you are looking radiant in your new piccie!! Look at you melting away. I can notice it in your face right away. Georgeous!!

                            Hubby is leaving for a 40 day trip overseas next Friday so I'm a little frazzled. Things here fall on my shoulders and packing--ugh, you all get the idea.

                            Good news is that my little bump in the road with all those dates has evened out. Reread DANDR about binge control and I think I did well with it. I'm back down to 218 this morning. I've been looking over my numbers at the tickerfactory and it seems I've been having a two month battle with the number 220. Up and down--lol. I need to take care of that and get moving!!
