    Good morning all! Today is the first day of the veggie challenge and I'm hoping it's going to give me the extra boost I need to eat more of them. Usually I am too scared to eat veggies because I love them and I don't want to go overboard.

    Stepped on the scale this morning after completing 14 days of induction. Unfortunately I was up 1 1/2 pounds from last week, but I know how much our bodies fluctuate, so I was not too bothered. Plus I have lost 6 inches all over so that's a bonus. I just have to remember to be patient and that this is forever, not a quick fix.

    Good Morning.. This is getting crazy.. I woke up at 3am! Now how in the world I am going to make it through the whole day is beyond me...lol

    yo yo girl.. I don't think ANYONE has gotten fat over vegetables... You are still doing great... Your losses are going to be a bit slower cause you don't have a lot to go.. The most important thing is to remember how you FEEL eating this way and keep on going..

    I have a weird day today.. My son has to have Lab work done at 7am... and my daughter has a doctors appointment to finally get her ingrown toe nails removed permanetly at 4:45... So somewhere in between I will get that little nap in...lol

      Another week begins! Planning meals, exercising, checking in on ADBB, getting healty both physically & mentally....I use to hate Mondays. Today I'm awake & full of energy. Last night as I was getting ready to hit the shower I realized I had worn my jeans all day long. Normally after running errands I would change into comfy pants as soon as I got home as the jeans were tight, rolling down my waist...you get the idea. I wore them all day long & didn't even realize it. Pretty exciting moment!!

      Weigh in day today & I'm not afraid! Have a fantastic day everyone!

        Good morning everyone! I see there's a lot of early birds today.

        Scales are still unmoved; one whole week without a loss. I'm on the edge of being a little discouraged. I've done nothing different...no cheats! I'm trying to stay positive, but I do have to say that today, I looked at that number and wanted to scream.

        We bought a new recliner yesterday; it will be delivered 11/1. We're so excited...we've been looking for awhile. I wanted one that didn't really look like a recliner, so it took us awhile. But it's gorgeous!

          Hello, sounds like slow or no weight loss this last week for everyone...for me, i'm starting day 6 of induction...got pink on the keto stick this morning....i am 147.5 this morn with 2.5 pounds from goal....my body is hanging on to these last few pounds for dear life....ehh gads...but at least i'm not gaining...

            Good Morning Everyone, wow it has been so long since i posted on roll call. Well today is my 1st day of restarting with induction. For those of you that dont know me, I use to post here often and I swayed away and pretty much have gained back what I lost and probally a few more with it. And for all those that know me, im so excited to back and cant wait to get back into the swing of things. Well thats all I have to say right now, I just got done with my bfast and now i got to get my day going. I will check in later.

              Happy Monday Everyone!

              Well I had a great weekend! Not only did I get to spend time with my husband but we went to the movies and I didn't cheat! I was so proud! I had to remind myself to eat a couple times and I didn't get as much water as I should have. (could have used 3 more glasses) But I feel great and happy to have made it through another weekend.
              My scale has been a weird lately. I weigh in the mornings and yesterday morning it said I was down 3 pounds! I was so excited to see that especially becuase I passed on all the movie goodies. It definately made it worth it! But Today when I got on it was up 4.5 pounds. I am not worried about it at all. I feel great and I know that our weight goes up and down from day today. I just wish I could find a scale that is accurate. My digital one will go up or down a bit just by getting on and off it. Good thing I have my inches to go by too.
              Yesterday was day 14 of induction for me. So now I am trying to decide if I should stay on induction or move on to OWL rung 1. I still have about 45 pounds to lose. I think I might do one week of extended induction so I can really read up and get a good grasp on OWL before I jump into it.

                Well, it's 4:26 and I've been up since 2:11 a.m., not because I am full of energy, but because wildfires are raging and we are having to prepare for a possible evacuation later.

                So far, we've got fires on two sides of us, and the latest evacuation is about 1/2 mile away. But more fires are starting and the San Diego area is pretty dangerous right now.

                I've just ordered a sub (San Diego schools are going to be open, as of now, but I live north of the district) and now 'm going back to bed to try to sleep a bit.

                      Glenda whoooohoooooo on the jeans experience! Isn't it great to realise those little milestones! So awesome! Pretty soon those comfy jeans will be falling off on the floor!

                      YoYo I'm doing the veggie challenge as well I'm excited about it! What "new" veggie are you trying this week??? I haven't decided yet I need to look at the list and figure out what I have never had.

                      Sandy good luck with your appointments today! I can totally sympathise with your dd today!

                      hugg ......... hang in there! Scales that don't move can be oh so frustrating I always try and look at those pauses as my body's way of taking stock and get excited about the loss that will folow when it kicks back in gear! Hang in there girl it's coming!

                      Blazing yeah for ketosis!!!!!! Your doing great! I'd like to say don't stress over those 2.5 lbs but I know darned well I'd be doing the exact same thing so instead I'll just say hang in there girl! We're here with you al the way!

                      Micca UGH on the scale fluctuations ........ my old one did the same thing I could gain or lose a few pounds ina few seconds just by stepping on again ........ not to reliable! Just go by how your feeling and those measurements!

                      I had a weekend of sick kiddos and staying quietly at home! It's a gorgeous day here today supposed to reach up to almost 80! Very unseasonable but I'll take it! I'm looking forward tot he veggie challenge this week and getting my body moving a little bit!

                        GOOD MORNING, STACers!!!

                        I'm back, too!! Did my treatment this past weekend. NOW I get to start living my life again!!! WOOHOO!!

                        And that includes getting back on Atkins in every shape, way and form! Except today. Today, I'm going to fast a bit, water, coffee, baked beans, Metamucil, to help clean out the radiation and all the fast food from the last two days, and take care of my organs. Going to work out today, too. Something says that's going to feel really good!

                            Wow--it's a jumping roll call this morning!!

                            My weekend went well. I'm down to 216.5 but official weigh in isn't until tomorrow--it's gonna be a good one for me.

                            Hubby leaves for an overseas trip this Friday. He'll be gone 40 days--which I'm not to excited about, but we'll take it one day at a time.

                            Glenda, I thought I was the only one who used to do that?!? lol. I used to actually just lounge around the house all day in my pj's--eating. When I went shopping for a new pair of jeans, back when I restarted Atkins, I was shocked by how large I had to buy them. Talk about a sobering experience. Now those pants literally fall off me and hang in my closet as a reminder. I should take an after pic with them on--lol.

                            TO ALL SCALE SUFFERERS, I've been in your shoes--it's not funny. READ DANDR. There is some great reassuring stuff in there. You'll feel better after re-reading, it worked for me.

                            Evermind--be careful with all those fires. We've been watching the news and they look horrific. I hope you and your family stay safe. You're in my thoughts!

                            I'm also in the veggie challenge. I'm keeping fitday open to log my veggies. Good luck to all STACers who are also doing the challenge--it looks like a fun one. I'm finally trying my jicama. I hope it's good... I hear that it's yummy, we'll see.

                              Gm everyone I was so having one of thoese just do not want to get out of bed mornings but I had to anyway. Most of my workout is finished I still need to put in a few more minutes on the treadmill. I got breakfast cooked the dishes done and laudry started now I am going to take a break for a few minutes. Sigh I am sorry to hear about the wildfires we had a huge problem with them earlier this year it was awful smoke and ask everywhere everyone was getting sick sigh glad thats over I hope they get them in control real soon. My weight has stayed the same this week to but I am just not going to worry about that right now I am concentrating on eating clean and getting my workouts in. I'm looking foward to the november improvement challange.
